no, lobsters and starfish have already found a way to hack it and become biological immortal. Expiration date is is not inherent to flesh, it is a build in extra feature. Once we fully understand how it functions, we will be able to turn it off. Then we will retain a body like a 20 year old, not forever but until a severe enough trauma kills us, which scientist predict will happen on average after 3500 years
@rageguy3113 ай бұрын
so a slightly more sexy version of hunger games? suprised no one wanted to start an 0rgy
@nervonabliss3 ай бұрын
That was my idea. I'd propose we play a game a roulette and just have a big orgy as we all die off one by one. Reveal nothing about ourselves so all decisions are misinformed and no rogue can take matters into their own hands without great risk and just fuck until there's only one standing.

So the nine young people actually physically died? With technology this advance, they might as well act this out digitally in the Matrix.

Wow, this was just uploaded! And i havent even heard of this movie before. But who doesn't love a sci-fi turn from Rutger Hauer?!
@SonnyK2483 ай бұрын
Rutger Hauer plays a man called Steve "Batti"er in a movie about a guy who is dying of old age and wants to get more life. And it has androids in it. Cant make that up 🤣
@jessetorres87383 ай бұрын
I've always found this concept of old people putting their brains in younger or Android bodies to be very interesting ever since I saw The Twilight Zone Episode The Trade Ins. Also, you'd figure with all of the advancements we've made with organ transplanting over the last 60 years someone would have found some way to transfer a brain since we can do so with every other organ.
@MagnificentDevil3 ай бұрын
We can't transplant every other organ. We also understand very little about the brain.
@ByTheStorm3 ай бұрын
@@MagnificentDevilNot only that? Unless the body is genetically similar? There’s always going to be a chance of rejection of the transplanted brain, even if all the connections go perfectly. The wealthy transplantees would have to take drugs for the rest of their lives to prevent this from happening. And some would inevitably die from brain rejection. Since organs age, the brains would need to either be refreshed or have the mind transferred to another. Which questions their personhood like Ghost in the Shell.

Unlike other organs, the brain is just too full of mysteries at today's science

Wow, I just woke up from a coma after being hit by a by a car while crossing the street. More precisely, I was crossing a street without first taking care and looking out and a truck driver slammed on his brakes just in time to avoid me. Unfortunately, some of the brand new cars his truck was carrying broke loose because of the abrupt stop and one of them fell on me. Now that the intros are back though, I am unlikely to be involved in another accident like that.

The reviewer thought they were way funnier than they were, but the problem with the film seems to be that young film makers don't realize how much it hurts to move... well, to do anything, as you age. Eventually your body is just too tired and sore no matter how much of a thrill life offers, you need a nap after making a sandwich!
