This movie was my number 1 favorite movie hands down for over a decade. I love jean reno. And a young natalie portman. Bellisimo. The part where shes telling him she thinks shes in love with him. Makes me laugh hard every time. My only wish was a sequel to matilda becoming the most feared hitwoman in the world. I think we are all due that.

I first saw Jean Reno as the terrifying Victor in Luc Besson's spy thriller "La femme Nikita." It was just shocking seeing the body disposal scene going wrong and seeing how truly deranged Victor was. I sometimes wonder if Leon is Victor, pretending to be Italian so he can escape the French government for attacking the embassy in "Nikita."

well the director of the movie actually based the film on his own pedo relationship with his wife whom he met when he was 30 and she was 12, and got her pregnant when she was 16.
