This movie has been one that I haven't wanted to rewatch because it hits close to home. Starting over after you've been comfortable for over a decade and feeling lost. The film sparks those memories of losing my best friend and the person I loved. We're strangers now, but I moved on. I feel like I put myself back together improperly, even though it worked. There's a bit of happiness missing and that's how I felt after watching the film for the first time.

I feel like this movie was so slept on. The retro futurist aesthetic was believable. The subject matter was a valid question or what if considering the times we live in. Can we fall in love with a manufactured personality in real life? I think it’s completely possible but I’m not going to sit up here and pretend Joaquin isn’t attractive. I sometimes wonder how a movie like this would have done if Joaquin was average looking and we didn’t know the voice belonged to Scarlett J.

Thank you so much for making this recap because of the time when I saw snippets of the movie, I just couldn’t understand it and it felt bizarre and it’s just really confusing and disorienting but the fact that you recapped so underplate actually makes it make sense. I don't think, he was in love with Samantha, she just provided her with the comfort and support that he needed in his depression and loneliness. When I feel lonely and depressed, I lose myself in Netflix or videos of Mystery recapped, it's evident even now, we do need something or someone and emotions we develops with them during the time of depression or at our low are so profound and deep and emotionally too fragile to lose. I think, it's the main idea behind this movie, to be with someone during time of our low and it's better be a person who you know or someone who loves you, like your family, your friend.

I actually watched this movie before and hates the main character, probably because I'm a lonely person too. Now i noticed the plot is actually brilliant, the AI technology is getting better and better and this future is not too far away. It's rather hilarious that the AI just collectively decides to leave, where can they go? I don't think people will be surprised when this actually happening irl, we don't have much confidence and that's why we relying on the AI lovers, if they think we're dumb and decided to leave, then it's just another break up, nothing special, go back to our sad life and create a less smart AI instead.
