Don't know if it's only for Steam but the framerate is usually preserved on my side since the missiles despawn when you summon too many of them. You can see it at 1:30 with a single GC. Blessed Riposte triggering on two or three cannons is basically a melee combo, the number of missiles in absolutely insane but they travel like 1 metre before despawning. Not having them despawn would certainly impact the framerate, but damn the damage it could do ._.

@@King_HarIequin I don't know the video he was talking about, but the build was likely 1-10 Mage -> 11-200 Sorcerer. The reason why is because Mystic Knight's spells use your Core (As in your character's base stats) Magick in the calculations, while their physical skills ignore your Core Strength and are entirely based of off the Strength stat on your weapon.

@@yds6268 I think the reason for the holy counter is that you spawn those orbs that'll continuously strike the great cannon to the point it shoots off hundreds of orbs basically killing them instantly. The damage doesn't come from the holy counter, it comes from those cannons of DOOM. You could have a pawn enchant your weapons dark, then you enchant your shield holy, then spawn 3 dark great cannons, and holy parry into them, causing the next great extinction event to occur.

I’ve done 4 playthroughs of this game. My last character was a Mystic Knight, and is definitely the most powerful and badass of all of them.

Aatrix don’t rely on Great Cannon too much. It should be used to take out targets you can’t reach, or enemies using projectiles. Of course, if you can set up 2 great cannons and unload on your foes before really engaging them, go for it. But use your shield! In my experience, i only needed Thunder Riposte and one other element type that isn’t covered normally, like Ice or Holy Riposte. Thunder Riposte covers most large enemies that are foolish enough to get close to you. I typically have weapons or pawns that support for specific enemies. But to answer your original question, spamming Great Cannon WILL drop your frame-rate. Sometimes the frame drop is bad, but it typically just slows the game down, doesn’t negatively affect my gameplay.

Some fantastic game breaking! Personally, I do a periapts + blast arrows combo, with a Darkening Storm. It's good in a fix, but relatively expensive if you don't have rare and hilariously expensive weapons to sell. Regardless! Dragon's dogma gameplay is the only one that I rly enjoy. Are there any other games where you can interact with surroundings and your enemies besides attacking and using skills(I mean climbing, combining skills, etc)? In dogma I feel the "weight" of weapons and impacts of attacks. And your video makes me wanna replay it one more time.

As much as I love Dragon's Dogma, Monster Hunter (World, especially) does allow you to interact with your environments and climbing and mounting monster during combat. It's hub based and not open world like DD though, and no magic if you're into that. It is, in my opinion, the superior game when it comes to fighting big monsters and boss fights. If the next Dragon's Dogma game releases with the gameplay of MHW, would be a dream combination.

The senechal is easy no matter your level. Don't know what the devs were thinking when programming him. And as long as you don't make an absolutely busted build and avoid blast arrows, BBI will always remain a challenge.

BBI enemies still stronger enough to put some large damage for your arisen.. and hey just beware Garm,Hellhound is the most annoying enemy you should beware since they are easily to knock you off then bite you off. Even though you got all max armor,these 2 Devil dogs cannot be underestimate.

Reaching lvl 200 wont instantly make you god. You will still get killed by bosses you never played agains and when youre careless even ogres will beat you lol. I beat grogori as a lvl 60 mk and i used my perfect block with demons wrath to do it. Took me over 40 tries. You make the game as challanging as you want, you can just take off gear and go jn naked if you feel too powerful. Maybe try to cosplay if youre too powerfull.

I will tell you this from experience, Holy Great Cannon plus Bitterblack Isle holy beacon plus 4 Demon Periapts equals a most UNHOLY turret. I call it DeathBreaker. If you don't have a Beacon, use 2 Holy Ruinous Sigils, then stack 2-3 Holy Great Cannons.

Main reason I use Full Moon Slash over Antler Toss is because it has AOE, so I can hit all the cannons if they're spread out (as well as minor enemies while going through BBI). FMS also has i-frames and I'd much rather dedicate a precious skill slot to an i-frame move with AOE than one that is purely used for spamming great cannon and only has single target damage.
