I've been re-watching the series after 4 years and it keeps reminding me just how important it was to me. I started watching it as a kid with a group of my best friends. We used to play D&D and pretend to be wizards and I came to love them like siblings. It really felt like having a guild. And for the impulsive, clumsy, fight loving girl in the group he really validated my weaknesses. He was just always there to remind me that while I may be the butt of many jokes and sometimes accidentally harm or piss off my friends, that they loved me and that I would do anything, absolutely anything for them. I'm nearly an adult now and while that friend group has changed and we have lost people we loved I know that I can keep going, and that I will always have and hold my found family, no matter where life takes me. So, thank you fairy tail and thank you Natsu Dragneel.

Fun Fact: The protagonist of Fairy Tail is the Fairy Tail guild hall (no hate) But I would agree. Natsu is my Favorite character because he has a nice voice, he is incredibly stupid, he is strong, his comebacks, and his personality, and lastly He uses Fire. One of the points for the anime is that it's very well adapted basically having almost no filler, since one saga is just semi-filler and the pacing is equal to the manga. The soundtrack is also very good and memorable!

FT haters r all 100% die hard fans at one point. They just grew to hate the flaws of the anime. As i have. People love fairy taio cause of the themes it represents which r comparable to real life. Friendship selflessness and a family. But sadly it also focuses heavily on fanservice nearly to the level of high school dxd and rosario vampire. Treating women as x objects . Worst of all natsu being oblivious and looking at groping manhamdling lucy is not funny or a joke. Its a grown man groping and seeing a woman. Sure its also an ecchi anime but i highly doubt its an ecchi driven anime. Although the story doesnt depend on eccho stuff its forced inside cause i guess half nxdity is loved and in demand of audiences. What wouod fairy tail be without fanservice? They shouldve tried that instead of trying to force lucy to be a x object and all women whenever possible. Thats also comparable to real life too. Women should be treated with respect. Exceptions r ecchi harem focused anime which purely depened on those genres. But for an awesome shounen anime to.act like highschool dxd? Thats disgusting.

I really enjoy fairy tail ,and its actually one of my top 5 But there are things it does wrong, in which I hate the most : No major development for the Main character. If any on has a good argument for Natsu do having good character development plese reply.

Actually you're right, there's no defense about it. But well, the mains character isn't Natsu, is the guild and even more Lucy, cause she's the one who started the story. But Natsu is the one who has the less development, having the major part of it Tenrou Island after his fight with Gildarts amd in Tartaros arc after learning the truth of himself. But one thing I always took at value is that Natsu isn't thr one to get "developed". His personality matches thr sense of Fairy Tail perfectly and his only big problem or trauma in life was the lost of Dragneel. He never had something like Gray with the Lyon betrayal situation, or Erza with her enslavement, Gajeel with being first a villain and then learning to adapt to the good side. Natsu was basically always "perfect" to the setting and he was also much more of a narrative tool to push others development, specially Luccy. But well, that's my interpretation

There r many FT members who r far better than natsu. Natsu is meliodas who treats lucy like mel treats elizabeth. Like an x object. Difference is natsu is oblivious to what a woman actually is and means. ( he was shy as a puppy in dragon cry anime tho). Natsu is pathetic mainly thanks to hiro mashima. Gray is a far better character. He actually grows into a more mature guy. Like every ft member he is also fighting and beating people far above his power by friendship punches. But one of the places where hes different is the way he treats juvia. Unlike natsu he never once misused juvia even though she literally throws herself at him. In latest eps hes actually shy and respectful to juvina. if it was natsu im pretty sure he will be oblivious and say like nah real lucy is better or something dumb. Except natsu no one not even gajeel treats women this way . Natsu is a man child .

One Problem: Natsu is not the Main Protagonist. He is the main MALE Protagonist. The truth is, the TRUE Protagonist is actually Lucy. It is her story we follow more so than any other Guild Member's. It's actually part of the meta commentary that Lucy is writing a book based somewhat on her own adventures/experiences. It's HER voice we typically hear for narration outside the main narrator and Levy during the Grand Magic Games. Saying that Natsu is the Main Character insults Lucy, who is the TRUE Main Character. Other than that... the video is fine.
