Either way, comments aren't always directed to the video uploader, but to other viewers too. So I'm grateful to learn this here as an audience member who hasn't watched every one of his shorts (cuz they're often just short versions of his old analysis videos I mostly watched, many with important details missing lately). I'm sure many other people may not watch Shorts at all, or this is their first MysticSlime video, or they just haven't gotten to that one yet, etc. The majority of players I've seen, even experienced ones, when re-fighting Sans, still assume what OP here said, that the Temmie armor or knife/locket are best against Sans. they don't reduce any damage, they just give you more invincibility frames allowing you to survive his first attack without moving

@@giogio3739 Sans only does 1 point of damage per hit; high DEF won't exactly be able to reduce that any further. 😉 So what makes him dangerous is how he bypasses your i-frames (thus he has high DPS), PLUS each point of damage he deals racks up Karma poisoning as well (so you lose even more HP). So by giving yourself i-frames, you greatly reduce his raw DPS, AND reduce the amount of Karma buildup at the same time.

It might not. As although both Undertale and Deltarune's battle systems involves Mercy as an option in battle, they function abit different. Plus, the concept of souls, and monsters in Undertale, is not the same in Deltarune. In Undertale, humans have souls filled with Determination and are different colors based on their traits, while monster souls lck Determination and are fragile. Despite that, humans cannot cast magic while monsters can. Monsters cannot bleed and merely turn to dust when they die. In Deltarune however, at least in the Light World, monsters can bleed. And cannot seem to be able to cast magic unless in the Dark World. We know monsters cannot cast magic in the Light World through a few cues in the two games. In Undertale, through inspecting I think the stove, Toriel apparently cleans the stove with fire magic. But in Deltarune, if you inspect the stove at home, it shows no signs of her cleaning the stove with fire magic, and it seems she needs to clean it the same way us irl humans do. Furthermore, in Chapter 2 of Deltarune, through Noelle's conversation with Rudy. It's implied that magic simply does not exist in the Light World, as, because Noelle thinks the events of chapter 2 was merely a dream, she wishes she could use healing magic, to heal her father's condition. When she can easily use healing magic in the Dark World. I apologize for this comment, I have a bad habit of accidentally over-explaining things and my point, then by the time I realize I've done so, I've already spent too long writing a huge comment, that discarding it would be a waste. Idea for next mod: Undertale but the buttona are randomized. Heres the idea : all the buttons are merged into a randomized button. When used, you cannot back OUT of the button. There would also be other buttons added. For example, Death : slash yourself for a random amount of damage. Act+ : twice as effective as a regular act, and check allows you to also see enemy hp and the attack they use the next turn. Magic : use a random magic attack from deltarune, like snowgrave, red buster, or sleep mist. Swap : Swap your weapon with anything. (This effects the death button.) Clone : im assumibg you already know what this does. Random : makes a ramdon thing happen like a ball flying in your face, enemy seeing a piece of dust on them, or getting brass knuckles. Please take this idea into consitteration!

Photoshop flowey fight uses entirely different heart object and stats and ways of working tecnically the game doesn't even detect it as a fight is just a bunch of rooms with decorations
