Serena is by far one of the best companions in the Pokemon anime. Along with Misty, May, Dawn, Iris, Lana, Mallow, Lillie & Chloe, As you all know, Her Braixen has now fully evolved into Delphox which I'm very surprised & shocked 😲. Serena has journeyed with Ash, Clemont & Bonnie in the beginning & end of the XY anime to the current appearance in the Journey's anime, Our girl Serena has came a long way & she did with her Pokemon, Her determination & willing to never give up like Ash.

I honestly think it would be a good idea for her to catch the female Pikachu. HOWEVER, I think it would be epic and give Serena more of her own thing if her Pikachu evolved into a Raichu later on. Both to give Raichu more love, and to make Serena a little more unique rather than just keeping her Pikachu unevolved.

I don’t feel like Serena should catch a female Pikachu. Maybe it’s not a popular opinion, but I feel like her entire character was build around Ash and her crush on him. I know in XY she had her own story, character development etc. but all in all lots of it revolves around Ash. Heck, she even started her journey because of him. And while I can see why people find it cute or endearing, I think she should be more independent. Giving her a Pikachu would feel like another way of making her closer to Ash.

Finally someone gets it. Before the show hastily wrote in a plot for her, she only existed as ash’s side piece. It’s not like they could have made her character more exciting or original but that she was there for the romance sub plot from day one. It didn’t help that they were doing a romance plot for the wrong person, ash is 10 and therefore cannot really comprehend a serious romantic relationship. It would feel more natural for an older character like Brock or alain for instance, to have a romantic side plot. It’s also worth noting how kalos was modeled after Paris (the city of love) so they had to have romance there somewhere. I honestly would have liked korrina to have been ash’s female friend for kalos as ash had a hand in helping korrina mega evolve with her lucario ( I think they also had a good rivalry) and it could have easily introduced the audience into the concept of mega evolution as well as ash’s place in it. (Mega charizard or septile would have been awesome to see)

I don't think she would run away from the female pikachu. She would engage with it for the experience. She might be initially interested in catching it but it got away. Ash and Serene would try to chase it eventually catch up to it but another pikachu came out and tried to defend the female pikachu. After noticing how close the two wild pikachus, Serena would feel bad in separating them and decided not to catch it and instead gave them poke puffs.

Here is another idea. What if Sarena's mom was in Hoen, went into labor, gave birth to Sarena in May's house, then dies, then May's parents have to raise Sarena. I thought of this because May and Sarena are similar in many ways. Just wanted to know what would happen if Sarena was raised with May.

I feel that Serena wants to catch the pikachu but its runaway from her. She tries to go catch but gets lost, and ashes pikachu runaway with a special pikachu. Both serena and ash start to look for pikachu but serena is distracted with finding her own pikachu to catch. Later they find pikachu with the special pikachu eating some berries. Serena is able to form a bond with the special pikachu and catches it. What makes this pikachu so special is that it tail has a black heart on it, which is quite rare.

I love this video I would love for Serena to perform with Bulbasaur in a showcase or a contest and I would love that she get to spend more time with Ash because she was with him at the beginning. I enjoyed the episode when she returned to Journeys and I like that Serena is more confident in this story too and I love that she calmed Ash and Gary down. It was a huge missed opportunity to me that Serena never had a Rhyhorn-Rhydon-Rhyperior on her core team. She borrows a couple in the anime but never just "has" one. I wish we'd let the female protags have less "cute" or "girly" pokemon and that would have been a PERFECT example of a 6 foot opportunity that the anime, in its way, just totally missed.

I think it's correct that Serena never got a Rhyhorn. While Serena eventually does make her peace with them, with her being thrown hundreds, even thousands of times in her childhood, there's too much bad blood between her and Rhyhorn for her to find them an attractive catch. It's like a person choosing a dog for a pet when his entire childhood is being constantly bitten by dogs - even if he grows out of it one way or another and dogs don't attack him now, it's hard to see him choosing one for a pet.

This was a good what if Serena seams to be a Moral Support to Ash here were she helps him get to becomes a better trainer earlier on in his journey and would more Constructive criticising Ash when he makes a Mistake than Misty did and his first Capture being Mankey instead of Caterpie and hopefully he will have a better time with it instead of the Rage filled Primeape he has in the Show and she may help Ash and Gary get friendlier to each other and Have Serena Catch that Female Pikachu as it would be a good counter part to Ash’s and they could help Ash and Serena get Closer to Each other as-well.

She catches the Pikachu but while traveling in a cave the two run into a Geodude she tells Pikachu to use a quick attack and misses she was upset at first but then sees something in the ground a thunderstone ash was a little upset so she let him have the stone claiming that she still wanted to keep her Pikachu the way it was and idk from there
