Miraidon is my favorite Legendary Pokémon. I swear, it was made for me. A great design, a typing consisting of both my favorite types in Electric and Dragon, an awesome presence in competitive, and its presence in the story of Violet made me grow to love it so much. It's even in the running of being one of my all-time favorites.

I'd put Ceruledge on Mudsdale, Fire/Ground Tera Ghost, move set Shadow Sneak, High Horse Power, Bitter Blade and Break Break (for Screens and Extreme Speed Dragonite etc). Abilities Weak Armor and Stamina holding a Weakness Policy. It evolves from Charcadet and Mudbray as soon as they are Both in your Party and are both level 35!

I bring a handful of ideas: 1) Let's put a Skitty on a Wailord of the opposite gender, then the Wailord-Skitty combi can Cute Charm - Attract any gendered pokemon and troll their trainers 2) Put Cubchoo on a Rapidash for a fire-ice fusion setup 3) Zangoose can ride a Corviknight can then terrorise poison types

Tinkaton on a Mudsdale would be utterly broken if it was Fairy/Ground type, which is the best possible type combination. All the advantages of the fairy type but with stab ground moves to check poison and Steel type moves. Add that to it getting Mudsdales bulk you have a Pokémon that can take hits and dish out massive damage.

Miraidon and Koraidon are both NUTS. Choice specs and choice band... Tera fighting and electric... Their main moves are wayyyy too strong. But I love my Ride or Die (Koraidon) and Vroom Doom (Miraidon).

Actually now that I think about it, why do Koraidon and Groudon not get fire stab while their counterparts do for their respective types? It's not like sun is that good that it needs to be held back. In fact you could make the argument that rain is better because sun abusers are usually grass types and thus far riskier than staking water types for rain.

Miraidon over Koraidon is downright criminal. Koraidon is in another tier given its movepool, its versatility, and quite frankly Sun is just better as a field condition than electric terrain and effectively gives Koraidon a third stab in fire. Miraidon is extremely strong, sure, but being a special attacking dragon type doesn’t help, when it needs draco meteor if it isn’t running a double dance set, which takes time that miraidon would prefer it not take to get going. Yeah, electric terrain boosted electro drifts and volt switches hit extremely hard, but when Pokémon like Ting Lu run rampant around the meta, it makes it hard for Miraidon to get on the field and make progress in the game. I’m sorry, but Koraidon is a menace that Miraidon simply isn’t.

Honestly miraidon over koraidon is logical. Koraidon has a 4x weakness to fairy which really hinders it in competitive. Especially when it comes to flutter mane or Iron Valiant. Plus, miraidon gets electric terrain that adds on to its STAB type, which adds onto its base 100 power move, whereas koraidon’s sun doesn’t. When it comes to overall sheer power, miraidon wins.

Koraidon can be easily hindered down with Intimidate, burned, and paralyzed, can be put to sleep, and confusion self-damage hurts him a lot. Miraidon on the other hand is either immune or doesn't care of any aforementioned status effect, which gave him a lot of freedom to plan for your next move. Miraidon also literally got two pivot move, he can run U-Turn to avoid Clodsire and Ting-Lu. Also, while it is very true that sun setup is generally better than electric terrain due to it helps a lot of other Pokémon that can benefit from the sun, electric terrain is harder to counter since there isn't many Pokémon that can change terrain on switch-in, and the fact that electric terrain can exist together with any weather helps Miraidon to make use of his coverage movepool. Miraidon Overheat with both sun and electric terrain easily nuke any Pokémon that resist electric and dragon move.

⁠​⁠@@mikeskicks5171yes, when it comes to sheer power, Miraidon wins. I 100% agree. However, Koraidon is the better Pokémon by a significant margin for the reasons I highlighted above. As for its 4x weakness to fairy, Koraidon is the best abuser of Tera in the game aside from Calyrex-S, and can run Tera Fire, Ghost, Steel, honestly whatever it wants. Koraidon can also run choice scarf, choice band, loaded dice scale shot, and has no hard checks outside of Skeledirge and Toxapex, depending on the set, and those two easily get overwhelmed by other powerhouses in the tier like Caly and Miraidon, which Koraidon is a great partner for. Also, I play Anything Goes, which isn’t Ubers, but it’s close enough, and Koraidon is a top 3 mon easily, along with Caly and Arceus-normal. It has the versatility and more immediate impact on a battle than Miraidon does, and is on basically every team, unlike miraidon.

Koraidon got nerfed from the beginning, bc game freak decided that the fire/dragon typing it actually deserved and is hinted, would have broke the purpose of Skeledirge, render sacien crown useless and immediately would have threatened the complete fairy typing as a neutral survivor with boosted stab, leg. Stats as a hyper offensive dragon dancer. It basically got the Charizard treatment Gen 1, it looks like a fire dragon, it behaves (has the moves and ability) like a fire Dragon and it would have, because of its typing, become a stable meta pokémon in the format with the which chance of ab emergency ban under his belt.
