@@hamburg4034 I agree. Ice is much worse than bug. It’s only resistance is... Ice.. and then it’s weaknesses are Fire, Steel, Fighting and I think Rock as well. So it’s a bad defensive typing. But even then it’s offensive capabilities aren’t great. Being strong against Grass, Flying, ground and dragon. Grass already has so many weaknesses so it’s just not great against it. Flying and ground it is very good for however pre gen 7 you will always have a water type for ground type pokemon because of needing surf and waterfall. And then it being good against dragon is amazing. Except the fact that steel and Fairy which are arguably the 2 best types in the game alongside dragon are both strong to dragon.. so you’ll definitely be using one of them over an ice type.. there are some dual type ice types which are incredible like Weavile and Alolan Ninetales but ice as it is isn’t that amazing

What about Golisopod? It literally gives you a free clean switch whenever it goes below 50% HP. Emergency Exit is actually really good if you know how to take full advantage of it. I played through Moon with a Golisopod and it was my 2nd best Pokémon, after Metagross. In addition to this, it's based on my favorite animal, the giant isopod.

I personally think Araquanid could make a case in the list too. Water bubble is a unique and a very good ability, and Araquanid has amazing defenses, specifically its 132 SpDef. Also, Genesect has access to Shift Gear, which is a buffed up Dragon Dance, one shift gear and you would almost be the fastest thing on the field. Just want to state out those two. Great job with your videos tho :D.

Man as a true bug enthusiast, you overlooked some fun guys. Yanmega, you overlooked Venomoth, Vespiquen (I don’t care what people say she is a beast that deserves attention), but also the new gen 8 bugs. All of them are excellent. Frosmoth has the worst typing in EXISTENCE but with icy scales it’s a damn beast. Orbeetle and Centiscorch are both solid. Not to mention Goliosopod and Araquanid. Might want to brush up! Bug is underrated!

i just wanna say that butterfree might be an odd choice for a solid bug type, but bro when i used it in sword and shield, i saw some online guides that were like "oh you should try to get one w/ the ability compound eyes and give it sleep powder" which is what i did, so basically you get a butterfree that is like 90% guaranteed to get its opponent to sleep every time, and since its fairly speedy and has a pretty nice movepull with stuff like shadow ball and bug buzz, it can definitely take out some strong opponents pretty easily, at least in just your everyday playthrough. not the strongest bug type ever, but very very fun to use :D

I’m kinda surprised and not surprised that Yanmega isn’t here. It can benefit from its attack but it’s not as good as it’s special attack and it can utilise it’s stab Air Slash and Bug Buzz and even Shadow ball which is not bad for Bug and Flying but then again it has a massive stealth rock weakness and just rock weakness in general.

You should really make an "honorable mentions" category for this video. Could have mentioned "Venomoth" with it's uses of psychic moves, "Dustox" was another good one too, also "Fortress" with it's high defenses. Also, because he is one of my favorites, you could have talked about "Beedrill" he did have a unique design for back in the day, him and "Scyther" and "Pinsir". How are the bottom 2/3 on this list over Araquanid? They're great pokemon but Water Bubble alone makes Araquanid worthy of this list.
