If you are trainer level 31 and up you can start getting getting candy XL and at trainer level 40 you can start using candy XL to power up your pokemon I hope this helps you out

@@katiewilliams2729 you can use XL candy once you start getting it, but you can only upgrade a pokémon 10 levels higher than your trainer level (level 31 trainers can only power up a pokémon to level 41)

@Cxrtr I didn't know that thanks for correcting me I thought I was going to have to wait until I was level 40 to start using it had I known I would've started powering up my pokemon early lol anyway thanks for the correction I'm level 40 now thanks to the last event we just got done with yesterday when we got double XP for evolving pokemon I went through a lot of lucky eggs

Until Niantic screwed Russia over, I was working on completing my Luckydex (getting every non-mythical Pokemon lucky in Pokemon GO), while my friend Maria was working on completing her Luckydex+ (getting every non-mythical Pokemon, every different Pokemon form and every costumed Pokemon lucky in Pokemon GO), so to help each other we were trading our daily 100 trades basically twice or thrice per week for like two and the half years (from july 2019 till march 2022). It could get boring sometimes, but the thrill of new lucky entries always stimulated us to go on with trades. 100 trades usually take about an hour, so we used to put an episode of some TV show while we traded. P. S. If somebody interested, Maria currently missing 127 entries (73 costumed; 21 legendaries; 18 Vivillon patterns; 6 newest pokemon: Crabrowler/Crabominable, Bruxish, Hawlucha, Kecleon, Cutiefly/Ribombee, Gimmighoul/Gholdengo; 4 babies; 2 Rotom; 3 hisuian forms: Avalugg, Braviary and Sneasel). I'm currently missing 38 entries (26 legendaries, 6 babies, Rotom, Wooloo/Dubwool, Espurr/Meowstic, Gimmighoul/Gholdengo and hisuian Sneasel/Sneasler)

Yea dude the discipline required to get through them all is crazy, I forced myself to do it everyday and it really is more of a chore than a gameplay experience

Hey mystic! 20:01 since you both clicked the charged move at the same time, it becomes a charged move priority(or cmp for short) the pokemon with the higher attack wins it and gets to attack first

It's why I always prefer a little bit of attack on my pvp mons just so I potentially have the edge over my opponent in cmp

Mystic. Did you know when you shield the color changes depending if it's effective or not effective. When it's blue it's not very effective, if it's red it's super effective, and if it's multi color it does some damage but not that much. It seems like you didn't know that while being watching

My pvp tip for you are to learn the type advantages lol. Ghost double resists fighting, which is why you give lucario shadow ball too (double move it as a riolu, its cheaper). Also if you and your opponent tap a charge move at the same time, that's called a CMP tie. The mon with the higher attack stat goes first (not including the shadow bonus)

Special trade doesn't count towards the 100 daily trades. But if you do 100 "normal" trades, then you can't open another and do a speciel trade (cuz you'll get "daily limit" box). At least that's my experience with it (currently sitting at 24600 trades :D )

If you tap at the charge move the same time as the opponent that is a cmp. Higher attack wins cmp and get to throw the charge move first.

If you do the "special" trade BEFORE you complete 100 trades, you get an extra 1 = 101. I think Lucky rate is 1/20, so should expect 5 out of 101. We trade a lot and usually get 6-7 a batch, but have gotten 12 Luckies from a batch, and a couple of times 0. You got some awesome Luckies!

Yo you need me to coach you in type matchups. I'm also quite sure that when you switch a Pokémon out their stats reset. So Lucario's power up punch boost was reset when it was switched out and brought back in.
