I'm doing a new set up, I was using a metal drum 2 motors on top, but the drum gets rusty fast. Are the tanks very strong? Thick plastic? I was planning to install 2 motors, 1 on each top of the 2 tanks. Do you think is good idea? Will they crush the tanks? Can you show me how you did the motors connection?

Awesome setup! I wanted to add 4 Myee XL motors, 2 pairs running in series then those pairs running in parallel. Do you think it would crush the tank?
@AllAmericanMack Жыл бұрын
I doubt it. These tanks are made to withstand positive displacement blowers of regular truckmounts so they are very strong. I haven't heard of anyone haveing any problems with it.

Thank you! Your setups are very practical I'm very well thought out thank you for your post.

Try a Devastater in line filter, less restriction than the pool type filters.
@AllAmericanMack3 жыл бұрын
I thought about them but very $$$. But don't get me wrong, I do think they are built better and less restrictive. I may look into getting one next though because the pool type filters always end up cracking, not sealing good, etc.

I do have a question. Hows the baffling for this setup ? does the vacuum motors take some of the moisture from the water splash while running ?
@AllAmericanMack3 жыл бұрын
I wondered the same thing with this tank. The older one had 3 sections so there was a good bit of room between where the vac motors and the hose barb are. From what I've seen, it's not an issue on this one either. I was prepared to modify the vac inlets if needed by using a 90 pvc fitting to direct the airflow towards the back of the tank. I did some checking and haven't found any evidence that any appreciable amount of moisture is entering the vac motors though. A little moisture vapor will always get into them no matter what kind of tank or setup it is but will be burned off by the heat from the motors. It looks as if the little sections that connect the two large upright parts are enough to baffle it effectively.

@@AllAmericanMack thank you! i ordered mine, and will probably add a 45 inside just to make sure. I will also build a etm with dual 8.4s that i've been using for a while now, was originally planning to buy a tm but the price tag threw me off. cheer! i learned a lot from your videos, keep it up!

Hey, you got some great videos. I'm thinking of building the same truckmount with 6.6-ame turbines. Do you think they can handle tanks like Vacuum 79 feet?
@AllAmericanMack3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what you mean by handle tanks like vacuum 79 feet??
@viktorviktor25433 жыл бұрын
@@AllAmericanMack I have to improvise. I don't have Mytee waste tanks. You use a vacuum and a waste tank on the equipment you have. I have the opportunity to do it but with a tank for 300 liters
@AllAmericanMack3 жыл бұрын
Oh ok, I understand. What is the tank made out of? It just needs to be strong enough to withstand the vacuum and maybe reinforced. I don't have any experience with the 6.6 vac motors so I can't say for sure how they will work. They may work fine, I just don't know. But remember that different vac motors can change the performance of the system. Some of them don't work well with long hose runs and some of them need to ran in series rather than parallel to get the best performance. If the vac motors you have are the Mytee 6.6 , I think I read that they perform best in series.
@viktorviktor25433 жыл бұрын
@@AllAmericanMack These are the engines used in the Jaguar 6.6, I will probably go into the variant as you shared the video with the tin barrel.

Hey brother I purchase a Mytee vortex 800 psi and wanted to install a single waste water tank if possible can you do a video on the system I will like to see how every thing flow
@AllAmericanMack3 жыл бұрын
The only equipment I have is what is my videos but if you're wanting to connect a waste tank to the Vortex, it should be pretty easy to do so.
@foxtrot-27733 жыл бұрын
@@AllAmericanMack ok, so if I set the fittings the same position as your tank. the water will flow through the single mytee tank then into the mytee vortex electric truck mount tank i have. I don't want to auto dump because in my neighborhood they are very particular
@AllAmericanMack3 жыл бұрын
On the Mytee single tank, you would need to have 2 different fittings, one where you would connect your vacuum hose that goes to your wand, and the other would connect the tank to your Vortex with a short piece of hose. I would use bulkhead fittings for both of them like I showed at the very end of the video because it would just make everything more simple. It needs to be done like this so the single tank will collect the waste water instead of the Vortex. You *might* need to baffle the waste tank inlet to direct the waste water down so it doesn't still end up in your Vortex but should be easy by just using a pvc 90 fitting. Cross-American used to make auxillery waste tanks to connect to their portables to do exactly what you're trying to do.

I'm not sure if you saw the end of the video but I did change out the vac port to a bulkhead. I used the drain pieces only because I had used them before but I agree that bulkheads all the way around would be easier.
