The mechanism that controls the two doors is seriously flawed. Our's froze up and failed completely. After opening up the bottom panel we found that the lubricant used became like a glue and the traveler attached to the door mechanism that moved inside a non-removable bracket bent the bracket. The doors wouldn't shut and we had to force them to close. Finally no matter how much force was applied they wouldn't shut. We applied a better heat resistant lubricant but the damage to the bracket prevented the doors from staying open. The cooking features are good but DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN.

Funny story. Last year planned to use my fryer, but the rain moved in, thought about frying on my back screen porch But decided against it. Ah, the oven ! I am a widower and only use the oven to store my cast iron skillets. I removed them but did not know how to turn on the oven. I panicked and called a neighbor lady for help. She left her family dinner to drive over to get me going. I used a browning bag. Wow, I really felt stupid. Btw the Turkey was great.

I had light colored hybrid plank flooring laid throughout most of my home. Although I clean the floor regularly by using a flat floor mop and the correct cleaning fluid, I noticed that, because of the indented profile in the plank, there has been a buildup of grime within the lower profile. Would your method of using the soft bristled broom work because the mop I am using just glides over the surface and is unable to get down into the lower profile?

You made a video long time ago showing how to build an ETM using a 55-gallon drum, that video had inspired me to build my own ETM at a time I was getting tired of my Mytee machines, even though I didn't build my ETM with a drum like you did and I didn't use the same vac motors you used, the fact that I'm using my own ETM that I built with my own hands I credit it to your video because without it I probably wouldn't have thought about building my own. But today I'm using a powerful ETM that is more powerful than any ETM Mytee had ever built. The most powerful ETM Mytee has is the Mytee LX PLUS and they go for around $6000 or more, and they built it with 3 LX vac motors, and I built mine with 4 LX vac motors and I only use a 14-gallon tank with these 4 LX vac motors.

It is lol and I've noticed it getting progressively worse. I haven't looked at it yet to see what's going on or if I can fix it because it started flowing not enough water. I changed out the valve and then one jet was flowing properly and the other only had a drizzle coming out. So I cleaned the filters and replaced the check valves and it's still not flowing right out of the one jet. Maybe one of the stainless tubes on the splitter is clogged but I got tired of messing with it so I just switched to my unglided wand for now.

Does this Shaw product have a smell to it? Zep makes a cleaner that has a good reputation for being effective AND safe for LVP with no residue, but it has a chemical smell that the wife will not approve of. When she mops, she wants a pleasant smell to be left behind.

It has a little smell, altough I don't personally think it's too overpowering. You could go over to amazon and buy a product called Unbelievable Ridz Odor to add to your cleaner that will leave a very nice scent. My customers *love* the spiced green tea and lavender scents.

No tomatos and no broth orstock of any kind .? Just a lot of water which makes it jambalaya soup .😊
@AllAmericanMack12 күн бұрын
Cajun jambalya does not have tomatoes, ever. Creole jambalaya which is found in New Orleans and often in North Louisiana does have tomatoes but cajun jambalaya is cooked and preferred in *most* of Louisiana. There is something about jambalaya that a lot of people don't understand, it's more about *how* it's cooked than the ingredients. You can give 10 people the exact same ingredients and all 10 of them will taste different due to cooking style. I know that in places outside of south central Louisiana, people think jambalaya is anything they can throw in a pot with rice and while you *can* call it jambalaya, it's not a real cajun jambalaya. As far as broth or stock, I don't use it but a lot of people do. In Gonzales Louisiana there is the anuual Jambalaya Festival where over a hundred if the best jambalaya cooks gather to compete. The rules are strict and you have to use ingredients from only a small list. Tomatoes are never allowed, nor is stock or broth. Why? Because again, a good jambalaya cook can make their jambalaya taste better *without* stock or broth than most people can with it. It's about cooking skill. They even have to cook it outside over a wood fire to further make it difficult. A lot of people, me included, cook our jambalaya along these same lines of using the allowed ingredients because it hones our cooking skill. I've literally cooked hundreds of pots of jambalaya and while it might seem like it's just a pot of water and rice, you'd probably be surprised at how good a real cajun jambalaya is. Everything from getting the rice to pop at the right time to getting the proper gratin is very important in the finished product and it's a far cry from throwing rice and tomatoes in a pot and calling it jambalaya.

Zep contains ethylbenzene. You might want to look up that chemical. Neutral doesn't necessarily mean "safe".
@AllAmericanMack12 күн бұрын
You're very right. When I say neutral, I'm only referring to the pH which manufacturers require to be used on their LVP to no void the warranty. Neutral pH and safe should never be interchanged.

Question....thinking about starting a portal potty business and using this vac set up to transfer to an rv transfer tank from there to take it to the dump station....any thoughts on using this set up to empty portal pottys..it is for a side hustle only..extra money
@AllAmericanMack13 күн бұрын
I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work as long as the vacs are baffled properly. I've not only used mine for minor flood work (including in my own house when my washing machine tub fell off and dumped water across my laundry, kitchen and living room) but also to help clear my sewage line a few times. I've got an extremely long run between my house and the septic tank, so long that I have to have 3 cleanouts. It also means there's not much of a grade so it tends to clog easily. I've jetted it before but have found that if I stick the vacuum hose in whatever cleanout is *before* the clog, I don't run the risk of the clog being an issue further down the line. It's handled poop and toilet paper easily.

One thing to consider about a use for your Mytee Airhog- using inline you can setup for autodump. The 3.5gpm will keep up with your 3 stages. Clean waste tanks and no dumping from bigger jobs
@AllAmericanMack13 күн бұрын
You're right and I've thought about how nice it would be to have auto pumpout. The thing is, I didn't really think it through before I bought it because I can't get it into or out of my trailer since all the doorways are blocked by equipment already and it's too heavy to be trying to lift it up and over anything to put it in or take it out. That's why I was thinking of a small, light single vac booster. I have a diamond plate toolbox that I think I could make work. I see Steambrite has one, the Clean Storm inline vac booster but it's almost a thousand dollars and I know I could build something way cheaper, I just need to figure out a proper baffle. Do you remember the Nordic One vac boosters that Terry Brevic used to build? They were small and made of aluminum. I emailed him before I bought the Mytee but he never replied so I ended up getting the Mytee. He didn't make that many of them but if I could find a used one for a decent price I'd probably get it. They were pricy though, around $1500. The reason I'm even thinking about building one isn't for most jobs, I'm pretty happy with the amount of vacuum I have but it would be nice to have for when I need add on my last 50 foot section of vac hose on and when I clean tile and grout.
@runzization13 күн бұрын
@AllAmericanMack Brother I'll send you a link and since you already own a Mytee you won't need a code. As it is tho Mytee AH would fit in the corner of your big trailer (I've fit it into a stuffed van next to Prochem TM and full shelving dual hose reels).

@@AllAmericanMack this is from exclusive home services. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rn3LkI2Iadapmcksi=2pewwq0WZLPFlDRP Currently you have 2/ 3-stages in Parallel. All you need now is a standard waste tank Cap, vac motor, and adhesive with elbow and screen filter. I believe your Mytee waste tanks have the factory trace mold that has the circumference of a Mytee waste Cap? If so then you'd need to cut the circle. I wouldnt bother buying another 3 stage as the 1 stage Mytee LX are lighter and last approx 1000 more hrs. Since your a Mytee customer just buy an LX vac($280-$300) along with cap, misc and you have the most efficient screw on vac booster.

@843idfa23 күн бұрын
Tire foam doesn't clean it, the hard water and grease is still there, you're simply applying an oil on it to hide it. Best option to clean it without scrubbing is steam wash, it'll remove all the grime and stains, for best results steam wash it while the engine is hot.
@AllAmericanMack20 күн бұрын
That's not exactly true. Is tire foam the *BEST* and most thorough way to clean an engine? If it's not super dirty, then then the tire foam does do a good job because it has a cleaner in it, it's *not* just a cover up. If the engine is real dirty, then tire foam is not going to be the best option. I have a video from some years back where I used a steam cleaner to clean the same engine. It took a lot of time and while it might have removed more dirt (engine was not all that dirty), I don't think it was worth the extra time and effort.
@843idfa20 күн бұрын
@AllAmericanMack By steam wash I mean hot water, it's not only steam, depending where you live, in the car wash stations its called steam wash but it's really just hot water. It's takes just a few seconds, no scrubbing needed.

There will be minimal splatters if you're cooking something with a lot of grease like bacon but it's not excessive. You can also close the hood to further minimize splatter so I would say it's a good bit less than using a frying pan on the stove.
