Mythical Nordic ambient: "Winterlight"

"Winterlight" is a special release by Gaetir the Mountainkeeper that is made of atmospheric, extended and re-edited versions of some moments from my previous album "Vetrarljós". That album reflected a particular personal journey, and the reason behind making these tracks in this manner is to invoke again the visions of deep Nordic atmosphere and glacial wilderness, this time from a different lens: through the monolithic, thunderous and ethereal ambiental work. There was a vision to initially create the album as such, but the energies decided to move in the other way. So, now is a chance to make up for that. As with the previous all-ambient albums "Norðr" and "Fornjörð", this release brings us back into the lush, icy landscape of sacred Mountains and frozen valleys, where the eternal Winter reigns supreme...
