I'm curious, from the production side, how you cook separately but then serve at the same time. Is Josh's dish sitting for that time before? Wouldn't his fried food get soggy? Or is he cooking for the show and then preparing a fresh plate in the second kitchen while Nicole cooks? I have to think having both plates fresh makes for the most fair competition!

Realistically, both of their foods will be sitting for a while before it gets to the point of filming the eating portion (for clean up, set up, ect) so they either made a second fresher plate or both dishes we’re sitting in the warmer for awhile. I believe there has been comments in the past of “this food is a little cold” or “this foods been sitting for a minute” so I would lean more to the food chills in a warmer
