Hearing him talk about his mum is really insightful and gave a lot to think about. My dad died very suddenly last year (as in they found him after a few days, had an autopsy etc) and he was only 64. Then after that my husband's grandma (89) started to deteriorate and had a point this year of waking up each day like 'is today the day' and hearing Steve-o talk about the relief of his mother finally passing after suffering for so long makes me sorta grateful my dad went the way he did so I didn't have to watch him deteriorate. On the one hand the shock was something else and it was still a traumatic experience and I didn't get to say goodbye or come to terms with it but I know I would struggle to wake up each day wishing that he would die so he could be at peace and everyone could start to properly heal and grieve. Steve-o has got a lot of strength to not only go through that but to openly talk about it, same goes to my husband and Josh, its oddly comforting.

Incredible episode, good work all around. Love seeing Steve-O doing well. My brother died from addiction, and it always warms my heart when people can fight and survive against such a terrible disease.

Steve-O is a more then perfect representation of how people just assume there isn't a shred of intelligence or little of that in performing artists (or those that create and conjure, should we say), no. I greatly appreciate the fact the man has great philosophical thoughts and Josh is vibing with that so wonderfully. I love the people that live outside of the box a bit more :)

This is the only content I've been genuinely interested in lately, thank you Josh and Mythical Kitchen! The Last Meals series goes crazy

I like how it's been evolving, it's not as family friendly anymore, so many shows and things try to stay family friendly which I think is a hindrance, evolve as your fan base ages, and Mythical Kitchen has done that perfectly.

So deeply happy to see this powerhouse from my childhood doing so well. Sobriety couldn't have been easy to achieve but he did it and is on such an admirable trajectory. ❤

so happy steve's still here... his advocacy for sobriety is so raw and real, makes the idea of sobriety seem so transcendental

I did not expect this interview to hit me so hard on an emotional level. Thank you Josh and Steve-O for your insight and genuinely thoughtful observations of life and death.

I would do a lot of really weird stuff to be able to have a few bags of those. I'm obsessed with pickled onions and I think I was meant to be English because a pickled onion and cheese toasty is like the utmost level of foodporn for me.

I’ve always admired Steve-O for being able to find that strength to get out of that dark place. It was something I wanted so badly for my mother. Unfortunately she didn’t find that strength before she overdosed 5 years ago. So happy and proud for ANYBODY that brings themself out of that place ❤

As someone who has never been a fan of Steve-O or Jackass, I have to say, this interview was really enlightening and Steve-O's outlook is, dare I say, inspiring. Especially when he qouted that it's better to regret the things you have done than the things you haven't. You certainly have a way with bringing out people's vulnerability and the hidden depths of their personality I'll certainly keep watching.

I don't think I can express with words how much I love Steve-O. I was a huge Jackass fan as a teen, and watching him become the man he is today has been so emotional and inspiring. I hope he realizes one day that at least part of his purpose is being a guiding light for a lot of people trying to pull themselves out of addiction and mental health slumps.
