Just a heads up there’s actually a second button on the inside of the leg that allows the ankle to drop and you get a lot more range out of the joint

As long as it doesn't cause structural problems, being hollow isn't a take away. It's when you have visible hollow spots in a spot that may face forward in a common pose.

I really liked having powermaster prime, that was fun at the time; godbomber I have no connection with, and always saw it with something of a morbid curiosity. Similar in a way my feelings about all the shattered glass (though plack/purple/gold with green accents is a great palette) .This thing ups all of that, it looks like it is done with a lot of love for the thing; if you are into that (or have money and shelf-space to put it!) it is great looking and seemingly fun as well. Great product from the looks of it.

Good video, dude. FYI--the Headmaster Juniors, in the original Masterforce show, could pilot Godbomber, who was actually just a drone.

Great review. Having this figure I know this review was a TON of work. I was able to pick up a review copy SG Power Baser at the last NJCC, and had to pick up the SG God Armor. Love the wash all over the figure.

Thanks for the review, Bobby! I already own their Power Baser, and their Double Evil. I was on the fence about getting the God Bomber armor set, but I really do like the full combined mode. It scales really well with their Overlord figure, and has such an attention grabbing presence. I'm looking forward to the Athena they are releasing this May, as it will be their first MP car sized bot for this character line. Really nice review, and I appreciated having it broken up into 2 different videos.

There are two more versions: the black one (which goes with Black Power Baser) and the regular version (which goes with the normal Power Baser and the new Power Baser V2). There will also be a retool of Power Baser to make Lightning Eagle (their Thunderclash).

I can't compare this to the original because I never read or watched Transformers Japanese mangá or anime. For what it has to do I think it's a good figure, well sculpted, well painted and well engineered, it looks like a fun piece to mess around with. I don't want it but I like it.

Two swords!? Interesting. I don't recall Ginrai ever using swords in Chou-jin Masterforce; he did have one in an episode of Transformers Victory...where he got critically hurt saving Starsaber's bacon. Not sure why Fans Hobby did two. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ The color scheme looks pretty great on Godbomber...even if it just ain't appropriate for him. As for the Headmaster Juniors, yeah, that's an interesting touch; Takara did a similar thing with their Transformers Legends LG42 Godbomber, but they only had Cab & Minerva...Go-Shooter was packaged elsewhere. (Not that it matters when you had the Godbomber Headmaster to make up for it)

The SG version was a limited edition run iirc. But you could still get TFCon gift set version, or the regular versions of both bots.

@@StardustLegacyFighter id have to say the SG god armor was the hardest to find but I got super lucky and a guy had one with a “broken” hand which wasn’t broken at all easy fix and got it for super cheap.

I've never seen so much of a designer's care, attention to detail and ingenuity go towards something so dumb. The 45 degree angle reminds me of that Captain America impossible chest drawing (by Rob Liefeld?)
