I'm shocked the city even allows this. There's plenty of room to angle your trailer properly and back in but at a 3 way intersection in the middle of traffic with cars parked everywhere? Wtf

You got this bro, like with all things in life, it tends to get better the more experience you get. I cant even imagine how tough it is, but as an aspiring truck driver, i have faith youll get the hang of it soon enough. Dont sell yourself short, you made it this far 💪

I deliver to Firestone stores and often have to back in from the street. My advice is to take your time and always get out and look if you need to.
@steve59753 жыл бұрын
Would be much easier if the business loaded the trucks right next to the scale; so the driver did not have to go all the way into traffic multiple times.

What's crazier: the backing difficulty or the concertina wire to protect junk cardboard? To increase difficulty, you should add a Beech Barron with failed engines making a dead stick landing on the street behind you.

No east or west coast for me! I will tell you though, that working on a live fracking site can be very intimidating when they tell you to squeeze in between the high pressure gas line and the and the blow-off flair stack! One wrong move and you could blow the whole place up! That will definitely pucker that butt hole up!

Sir, I'm no trucker, just a "lowly" gamer (Euro Truck). But your videos (and others) show me the kind of crap you guys have to put up with. Drivers deserve every dollar they earn, and more. JMHO...

Hi mate, thank you for you video, they have helped me alot in my trucking career here in the UK but doing supermarket store can be tough and very tight with customer cars moving around. My question is, in your game can I make my own levels up to test, as I could see how I would manoeuvre around cars within a car park to get onto the loading bay. Thank you.
@MyTruckingSkills3 жыл бұрын
I'm my next game there will be a level editor. I'm going to be putting a lot more thought into it. The whole game basically needs to be rewritten to make all the changes that everyone wants.

One thing is clear. IF a moronic car driver crashes into you while you roll the dice backing into this sh*thole three times, you, the truck driver, will totally eat that. Backing up, you have no right of way and a spotter, even if the person turns out to be an imbecile, does not free the driver from being responsible. An all around lose-lose, even if there was an idiot premium paid for going to such places.

I suggested this one! A few things for anyone curious: - They didn't send someone out to stop traffic - It was around 0900 on a week day and all lanes had a constant flow of traffic with parked cars lined up on every curb - I had to park blocking a lane and walk up to a window that had a lady with a Vietnamese or Korean accent screaming only 2 words I could understand: "MOVE TRUCK, MOVE TRUCK!" - Had a few cars try to beat me backing in and almost hit them Hilarious video, thanks for sharing it. If anyone asks me how I started learning how to back I send them your way.
@MyTruckingSkills3 жыл бұрын
Thx man. So where do you park to check in?
@dustinw17503 жыл бұрын
I think they expect you to just back in on the scale when you get there. When I was there I saw no signs, no room on the side of the street to park, and no one outside looking for incoming trucks. None of my load information indicated the process of checking in either. I ended up parking in the right turn lane closest to the scale entrance and walked up to the window. All I heard was "MOVE TRUCK MOVE TRUCK" so I got back in and just backed up knowing from previous experience how these cardboard bale places work with weights.
