I was enjoying my 1099 until i was injured very bad while securing my oversized load, i ended up in a hospital for a surgery on broken and dislocated shoulder, i start learning my lesson the hard way after i find out the NONE benefits for the 1099 drivers except paying my hospital's bills and a weekly $500 for up to 1 year with NO rights for disability

great video brother..I have been doing 1099 for almost two years.. I only did 1099 to save up some money. You do make more money as a 1099. Company that I work for give me 3,500 miles a week..therefore, you are able to make 2,500 a week. I was not making any money as a w2 employee...

Well I am over the road truck driver..therefore, I don't pay a whole lot in taxes..if I make 2,500 I might only 500.00 in taxes. Therefore, I put 2,000 in my pocket...

I was told i have to pay the truck maintenance and repairs also if i got into accident and found at fault i have to pay it too.

A big thing that should be mentioned with being a 1099 is You have to file taxes quarterly. If you do not file them on time there are huge penalties.

Excellent information brother, yeah I have a question myself a couple times like what the hell am I getting out of this being a 1099 driver you guys are saving money and time with me being a 1099 driver, not only that but you want me to do all this paperwork and all this extra BS, like what the hell do I get out of it except the headache of doing my own taxes and more paperwork that I don't normally do as a W-2 or a 1099, just play some with now they're trying to put all kinds of extra shit on me that I ain't never had to do before

Certified Financials is the way to go if you are looking for proof of ability to pay back on a loan or Mortgage. This is very helpful if you do not File or Pay Income Taxes like myself, and it's also much more accurate in assessing the ability of the debtor to payback the creditor. Contrary to popular belief not everyone is required to file and pay Income Tax.
