Karan Ashley is back for season 2 of Uncensored Talk. Joining her as a special co-host, Austin St. John from "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" helps Karan welcome the original Zyurangers to the show. This special episode features Reiko Chiba, Takumi Hashimoto, and Aohisa Takayasu.

Loved every second of this episode. You got ASJ, Ms. Ashley and the Zyurangers together for the first time. I just loved it. Seeing them interact with one another added another layer how much they are beloved by us, the fans :D. And, I can't believe Reiko look exactly the same as she was over 20 years ago! She got that Walter Emanuel Jones age defying syndrome lol. One more thing, ASJ needs to host more. He was awesome! Stay blessed :).

It's truly amazing how differently people hold and present themselves from around the world. Like you look at Reiko Chiba, Takumi Hashimoto, and Aohisa Takayasu and they hold themselves up. hands on lap, sit straight and truly focus on the conversation. This was a treat and after the limitations of Saban enterprise, VHS and limited access. Zyurangers is now accessible and 3-4 of 6 appeared in the U.S. It is fantastic to know the three, Seijuu Umon- who is now has a new name. His English is up there and it is great that he could hold his own in the interview! He went through a lot before he nailed the role which made him a star. "Mammoth Ranger, Goshi"! That was fantastic! Reiko Chiba- still beautiful as always, very bubbly and sexy of course. She knows almost enough English but not as advance as Seiju. She was very naughty saying "Takumi is a Homo" then soften it up calling him Gay. Takumi Hashimoto- not much of a English speaker but he looked like he never aged. It is a pleasure to have him onboard as well. Now they are attempting to persuade Tricera Ranger Dan( Hideki Fujisawa) to find time on his demanding job to attend the convention. And Dragon ranger Burai (Shiro Izumi), to return from the limelight and he is considering too!

I was grinning ear to ear... and then the translator really dropped the ball here. There's a lot that's being lost here, but it's still so fun to see these folks get together, and they're clearly having so much fun anwyas. Maybe it's just that he's another yellow ranger, but I really warmed up to Hashimoto-san a lot here. I always get kinda bummed out when I see these kinds of interviews and panels because just now as all these actors are getting out there and doing cons and everyone gets to meet their heroes from childhood, MY favorite ranger is the ONE ranger who's not here anymore. But seeing Aisha and Boi stumble their way over a language barrier and having such a great time doing it is... pretty special. You two meant so much to me when I was little.

I do not speak Japanese, but several times in the video I understood what they were saying before it was translated, and in a couple of instances I got more of an answer out of that than from what the translator was saying. I could be wrong, but I don't think he covered their full responses. Especially on the question where they were asked if they were friends on the set. All the translator said was that there was an age difference between the actors, but I heard Reiko explain who was friends with who. Maybe I got it wrong, but I don't think I did.

Not to poo poo on this, cause it's incredible that this interview even happened but, needed a better translator. Sometimes their answers didn't really match the questions and I cringed every time he struggled to find the right words or immediately forgot what the actor's answers were. I know the struggle because I'm bilingual too and sometimes when people ask me to translate I go blank! which is why for things like these they need someone who does this for a living.

After having seen the 30th Anniversary Special and then going back to watching this particular segment I just realized that both the Japanese versions of the pink and yellow ranger were the same age as the new yellow ranger is now. All three were 16 when they shot their individual projects just 30 to 31 years apart, and to me that's just crazy to think about that all three Rangers were the exact same age when they put on the suit.
