you can run 3 wells into 1 pump. which triples production from 1 water input. just plug the water (blue) cable into the oxygen and methane inputs. (if you plug the cable into oxygen or methane, then the cable will be green or red - meaning you messed up the order).

Hey bud, the things you put in the incubator will get to stage 2 and stop growing, they will not go any further. stage 2 is the trays, stage 2 and 3 is the farms and stage 2, 3 and 4 is the domes. Farms and domes need soil, soil is not transferable from building to building, you need a composter in every building. Also, unlock the auto fertilizer next, means you can ignore pooping anymore. At least in this version of the game. So the seed magazines, dont make any more until you have used all the ones you have. save the potatoes and then only make enough seeds for what you want to plant. as long as your base is good on energy, which you are, then the fridge wont go off and you will not loose the potatoes. You can combine the potatoes, even if they are different, you can still combine them, it brings up and box and tells you what you will get if you combine them, just click apply and all is good, but you dont want 87 different seed cans. save the potatoes and then just make the seeds when your gonna use them. Did you notice that when the seed planter is in your hand, if you look to the right side of the screen, it shows you 5 of the seed cans you have on you, you had a stack of 10 seed cans(all 10 had the same amount of seeds and the same quality of seeds), so when you loaded 1 of them, the other 9 dropped on the floor. Good way of getting rid of things you dont want is to walk over to the crusher, whilst it is closed, hit tab and go to inventory, then just click and drag off the tablet to drop stuff. Drop anything you dont want onto the door to the crusher, then walk over to the controls of the crusher and open the door. the crusher will eat them all.

with apple trees, oxygen trees, and pumpkins: start in the incubator, then move to a dome. can grow up to 50% stage 2 in the shelf and field, but not to full growth.

You can take the water pump and make all three intakes be water and funnel all 3 intakes into 1 output.

You need to build a composter in the small greenhouse to get dirt in there. Also you should be sticking to 1 strain of seeds per plant type. It won’t let you combine because they are different strains with different growth and yield percentages. If I were playing I would take that large container of potatoes and plant those, throw all the others away and keep making 60 seeds and putting the rest in fridge until you have atleast one other type of food to combine with them to make processed food. Repeat for beats ect. After a couple harvests your stuff will grow very fast with a high yelld. Ie 60 seeds and a lot of food from one harvest.

@6:46 you could've easily connected it to the pump by getting rid of the methane thats not even going anywhere to combine the water going to the base without extra piping same for the O2 going in the pump and just connect directly to the base and have 3 water merge into the pump if you didnt know the pump is similar to an ECU, tank is battery, and the well itself is the solar panel with built in battery

An observation: Everytime you check the well you have to look up on it. Is there not some platforms you can build?

Would it be worth making 2 pumps 1 to handle all 3 Wells water and the other to do methane and 2 oxygen feeds 1 for base 1 for rover

Curious to know if you are able to combine different types of vegetables in the seed machine to create a hybrid variety seed? Example: Potato x Beetroot

The well will only ever produce 2l of O2, the scrubber can do around 13l of O2, well costs 10 power, scrubber costs about 10 power. Best thing to do is have 1 well that makes O2 and Hydrogen and water, this well should have a tank of all 3 attached to the end of it, O2, water and Hydrogen. All other wells should just be for water and those are the ones you pump into the base. This way you get 6 water from each well, rather than the 4 or 5 you are currently getting. Also add a large tank to the side of the base to store the water in. So it goes 3 wells into a pump, then the pump goes into another pump, then that pump goes into a horizontal tank, then that goes into the base. You do the 2 pumps so when you add more wells when you realise you need em, its all ready for you to do this. 9 wells is ok, but 18 would be best. Having the scrubber means you wont need O2 going into the base, the O2 you make at the well is just to refill the rover, nothing else. having a couple of tanks on this would be good so when you plug the rover in, it will take it from the tank and fill quick. Hope this helps as the 9 water you have going into your base is still not enough and your talking about adding more plants into the mix.

Hey been enjoying your series. Just wanted to know. In the tutorials I have watched in other vids plants produce oxygen, so if you keep a consistant farm. Do you need a co2 scrubber? Other than filling your oxygen tank

Oh btw. Just explaining this plant=oxygen senario. Your power supply went out multiple times, your oxygen well relied on power…… but you also still had plants growing that you in turn got the “ your plants are withering” message. Your plants and oxygen outlasted your power supply

@MyUsualMe If you think disposing of empty seed canisters is a pain in the ass, just imagine that I made way too many Rover expansion packs and had hell to pay just trying to drop them into the Big Crusher! They would scatter everywhere and only one or two would actually make it into the crusher. And that's what the devs said to do! They said to throw unwanted and unused stuff into the crusher or if it's seed canisters you can use them in the composter along with all your wilted plants to make fertilizer.

I agree with DRBADAZZ04, every place that produces food needs its own composter. If you go into the dome, opposite of the door you will see a box like object, that is for the composter. The small dome can plant one type of plant the medium dome can plant 2 and the large dome can plant 4 different types of plants. Have a Great one!!!

please stop wasting time with the basic potatoes. only use the advanced potatoes. each time you grow, they yield more, more and more. seed them and plant them, seed them then plant them as you advance the same batch. throw all the basics away. you have plenty of MRE's to waste your time with the basics. this is definately something the Devs need to work on
