Indeed. I once had a duel like this. It was me and my Fortune Ladies vs. a Meklord player. He kept using the Meklord trap to recover his monsters, and I opened well enough with Fortune Ladies to be able to use Water's effect multiple times, so the duel went on for a long time, but in the end I won. At the end of that duel, we both acknowledged the sheer amount of back and forth there had been in that one duel and thanked each other for the experience. I still remember it fondly to this day.

the Myutant Archetype looks fun as hell to play first time even hearing about it but noticing more and more that konami seems to pick which monsters get the 'boss intro' a bit arbitrarily, been noticing it since i built my irl hero deck in game and noticed that Sunrise doesn't have one but seeing the dark magician dragon and what's clearly the boss monster of the Myutant archetype don't get one either kinda irks me a bit

Don't build myutant until mutator comes, deck is too fragile ATM and quite frankly really ass without it

Kinda late because just started yugioh 3 months ago but Thank you for showcasing this awesome archtype in an epic battle vs yugi :P And thanks for giving good feedback, ive read the fusioncard a few more times and also decided it was not that good and removed the 1 off from my deck, 3 Questions: Is myutant mutant really that good in your opinion? becaus to me it feels like suicide especially with solemn strike because of the lifepoint cost. And what can you tell me about why you dont play Myutant GB-88? That one does look good to me. also im trying to mix them with ghoti, can you see the value in that? Like summon lvl 8 and banish a fish tuner in your turn, summon deep beyond in opponents turn and banish the field?

Can you explain how you negated eternal soul at the end because his dm dragon knight shouldnt let you target spells/traps and cant be destroyed either idk the archetype you are playing so idk what that boss mosnter of yours does except negate something when you send something of the type you are negating?

Look, Ultimus negates without targeting +banish, and since it's not a destroy, she leaves the field. Yes, to activate this effect, I need to exile a card of the same type from the field (face up), graveyard, or hands.

Because I do not see for myself where it can be applied. And I don’t want to raise a brick-hand at all. In my opinion, one copy is of little use, since even if you want to enter this card, you need to purposefully get it (and playing in 3 copies is suicide). And besides, she is not mobile enough to save from negates, for example, as she can afford Myutant Cry and from this it turns out that the Fusion Summon automatically becomes more difficult. My build, even with negates, allows me to spin up quite quickly, so why would I sacrifice this mobility by having this card in the deck? I just don’t understand why I should waste resources on such a low-quality exchange when they can be saved for negates or left for the next move. P.s. In general, I'm waiting for the addition Myutant Mutator, because it will become even easier to unwind, and the brick-hands will practically disappear

That because everyone plays with their own archetype with few exceptions Not playing the strongest cards in the game in one deck like always the meta has been or playing with 15 hand traps this shit I wish to see mode for archetypes only It would be far more balanced and fun than normal mode Plus it is actually what they produce new archetypes and what they ban general cards that can be abused not archetypes generally Which shows that most of archetypes are balanced or under-balanced because they don’t get nerfed

Hand traps are needed in the meta due to going first being uninterruptible without them. Imagine drytron if they didnt need to worry about hand traps and could setup full negate without worry. player 2 wouldnt be able to play the game at all. Hand traps are not healthy for casual play sure, but they are needed with the amount of setup disruption is in the game.
