Got the vertical module for Edelkrone about three months ago and have been putting it through it's paces. These are my honest opinion about the product and Edelkrone didn't send me any of this stuff or pay me to do this review.

So many of my same points about the Vertical module covered. I like the Motor module mods and wish they were standard. The ¼-20 screw is the worst choice and makes absolutely NO sense.... Relying on that one tiny screw to hold the HeadPlus and camera package is pretty risky. The lack of bubble level... I know. I added one right away.

Thank you for this video, very informative. I have a question that you may have knowledge on. What is your opinion if you were to mount the edelkrone slider and/or jib to a Proaim Quad Plus Film Camera Doorway Dolly, or something of that nature. Could a system like they have, using a variable bazooka mount, replace the need for a tripod? I am looking for a rig where I could dolly a slider into place, have variable heights and then click record to automate the movements.

Hey @myvideoversion I see that you use exactly the same setup, but I can not make it function to go up or down like it should. For instance I detach one spirng wire because the headplus with camera wont got down, and than when it got down, it won't go up because it needs one spring wire.

I find that tightening the tension knob tight helps the most. You also might think about adding just a little weight to your camera setup to off set the spring just enough. I typically use the wires until it doesn’t go down

When you say that the shakes / jitters were easy to fix afterwards in post, what exactly do you do to achieve that? I'm not sure what program / method would fix them best. Thanks!

Davinci resolve has a stabilizer and premier pro I use warp stabilizer

Is Warp Stabilizer actually able to remove the ability to notice shakes / jitters caused by the crane system? @@myvideoversion

I hate it i wish i bought the ifootage nano instead i had to spend days of troubleshooting and emails with edelkrone to just do basic shooting without jetters
