Cheers for the demo, have used this saw quite a few times. however whilst cutting a 8-10cm sapling the weight of tree clamped onto blade & blade came off & I cant put it back in ?? I believe its probably due to the pin that holds the blade is still horizontal & should be vertical but for the life of me I cant turn the pin with a flat screwdriver even though theres a slot in it Can You please help ??
@Drivaaar11 ай бұрын
If you hold in the blade release button, it should then let you use a flat screwdriver to turn that pin.

I've used one of those to cut through plastic, and also mental using the standard blade, and most of the teeth are worn down but it still cuts. Also used it on a thick conifer tree stump, not the ideal tool but it will cut through.

Thank you so much! But I couldn’t find the exact same one. Would you tell me the model name? Can it cut through 3” x 8”wood?
@MyWagga4 жыл бұрын
It might cut that thickness but only softwood. I don't think you can get this model anymore. If you are going to do a lot of constant heavy work then a real chainsaw would be better. This is for the occasionional DIY type of job.

Love my scorpion saw! Cuts plywood sheets like a hot knife through butter, and gives a clean cut (no splintering)..... Just finished ply lining and building ply racking for my lads van. I reckon this saw saved me 1/2 a day compared to hand cutting. Worth every penny! Cost me less than £30 with 3 blades and case.....

Yep... I started with my spear and jackson handsaw and it just ripped the ply ( splintered the sheets). Pulled out my scorpion and couldn't believe the result!!... I own a lot of power tools from makita..... 14v and 18v drills,..to dewalt, 110v drill, Bosch planer,240v drill,and 12v drills....,However B+D have never let me down, I own a Black and Decker 240v drill, orbital sander,.......circular saw, ..3.6v lithium ion screwdriver, mouse sander, and scorpion saw........and I can't fault them!!

Enjoyed the video. You could have added an extra bit of information that the inner blade slot stud should be in a horizontal position and the slot upward i.e vertical... You can release it by pressing the block knob and using a screwdriver to turn it the right way. . I learnt the hard way. when I couldn't get the blade back into the slot.

Thanks for such a great video. No one mentiones the fact that the keep can rotate, and can be rotated. Everything lines up great but it can end up out of line, a screwdriver can return this but as they say if you don't know, you don't know. Apparently it used to have an insruction on this next to opening but it rubs off
