completely underrated channel you have! this video is straight quality. Love the way you detail!!!
@Skootl3DCreations4 жыл бұрын
Just gotta say... Chemical Guys, Adams, SOMEONE needs to do a deal with you. I came to your channel originally due to how you modded your car, and the journey doing so (before I had my wrx, and even more now that I have a 2019 wrx limited now), but I've come to see that I watch your channel mostly for how you clean your sexy ass ride (well...rides. first the wrx, now your sti). One of these companies needs to realize the work you do for them, and have you put together a car wash kit. Basically three levels, a 'starter' car wash kit with basic stuff, bucket and some car and wheel cleaner, a '2nd level' kit where there are a lil more goodies to make a ride look that much better, and an 'expert' kit that basically comes with 3 buckets (wheels, wash, rinse), and all the product you suggest for each. I don't know. Just watched this, saw how you rocked it out from start to finish, and figured...hey, mah dude here needs to put some stuff together for him and his fans. Anyways, keep up the amazing work, sorry for the novel of a comment.

J Olson Digital thanks for the love bro. I would love to have one of the detailing companies reach out. It just kills me how I see people on social media have brand deals with these companies but never show the process on how to use it properly or just post product shots. Thanks for the comment bro! 🤙

I work at Kal Tire, we have one open bay with no lift where we store the service truck. I take my WRX there late at night to wash it in peace with the awesome pressure washer system we have. It’s so peaceful.. I give it the full chemical guys treatment without feeling rushed or guilty about spending money at the coin wash. Plus it’s in the warm building so that’s a bonus. It’s almost the best part of my job other than the beautiful cars I get to work on daily 👌🏻👌🏻

Washing the car always feels therapeutic. If you want to go down even deeper into the rabbit hole of detailing products I suggest checking out Forensic Detailing and Apex Detail. I’ve watched all the other channels and found these two have the least “push” for a brand and only recommend what actually works the best. They’ve taught me to use multiple wash mitts rather than one in a two bucket wash. What sealants, waxes, coatings, and etc actually last under chemical testing. Lastly. Check out the Bilt Hamber snow foam. It is literally one of a few that actually remove dirt and grime. Their wash soap also contain anti rust agents perfect for the exposed metal on some vehicles.

The only thing I could comment on that I'd change with your wash was when you were sheeting with the hose to aid drying. Wrap the hose end in something soft or use more control on the hose, because you're spending all that time preventing scratches and swirls and it'd be a silly mistake to drag the hose end across the paint during that stage. Otherwise, nice work!

this was really satisfying and making me want to go home and immediately wash my car. I can really appreciate the take spent on going through each honeycomb piece on the front grille, i'll be installing mine soon and doing the same process. picked up a new technique to try for the water sheeting part, that is a genius idea! Thanks for that! Do you do anything different around the rear license plate area or have any recommendations? i get the most buildup there and it's always my dirtiest section. Thinking getting the APR CF piece like you have because i think that would help.

Actually, I take it off once a month to give it a good cleaning. I wrapped the surface area under the APR backing to prevent scratches from debris and rubbing.
