I never had any problems firing up the camel, at least none I can recall. Great to see his new home is free of straw and dead rats👌

Yes it's remarkably reliable as ever if you know how. Bit of a lost art the old choke and kick start routine. Hope all is rootin' tootin' in your part of the Shire 👌👍

I love the smell of my 2021 Beta 2 smoker. I find it interesting you are using Oregon chain saw oil for your bike....It reminds me of what we did in the late 70's and early 80's taking oil from our dads for our 2 stroke dirt bikes...Thank you for the content.

Ha ha yes, we used what we could find back then. Kids today wouldn't cope, we all had the eastern european improvisation attitude I think. Maybe nostalgia, but I think we lost something as a society. 👍

At least the local neds will have a 'how too' video for reference after they've freewheeled him out of the garage and down the street a bit 😉😂

Had my MOT booked today for my mz just like this, but it wouldn’t start, bumped it and all multiple times. Checked the spark and it was flooded almost. Immediate thought is floats are too high, any thoughts?
@CodgerBiker3 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. I've had a float leak, so it sank. This flooded. Also a replacement plastic float appeared to fail due to ethanol in fuel it became heavy and sank. Currently on a new metal one and all is well. I now remove the ethanol just in case, prior to mixing. Would check float for leaks first. I'd be interested to see what you find. I removed mine, shook it, and you can hear fuel inside if it has failed. 🤞👍 See here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWaXkmObo550oJo

@@CodgerBiker little update: MOT this Friday, with a new, correct, spark plug as it was a cheap terrible one there originally. Put the correct spark in and it runs like a treat. Bought a brand new exhaust and fuel tap for it as well as a new float, but we think the original float is fine! Thank you for your videos! Subscribed!

Cheers. Make a video? We are lucky there are still plenty of spares. Soon adds up though. I bought the bike (6 weeks old) in 1984 for less than £200. I’ve spent 4x that on parts to ‘restore’ it. 😂👍
