Mzee Kenyatta's Chair

As Kenya marks its golden jubilee of independence on the 12th of December 2013, a chair at the Kenya national archives in Nairobi will be marking the same, literally. Well this is the chair which the director of the Kenya national archives John M'reria refers to as the memory of the state, a prestigious seat, a status symbol and one which deserves dignity though not a living thing. We are talking about the official seat the 1st president of Kenya, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, used between 1963 and 1978. Judy Kosgei was at the national archives to find out whether any other person has ever sat on the highly guarded chair, made of leather and oak wood.

I think it's really irresponsible for her to sit on this chair. Some jobs require a certain level of passion. Like the museum. He ought to have know that this symbol should not be defiled just to appear on TV

These People are Notorious in lying, the red chair they are trying to say that was the same chair Kenyatta sat on during his Uhuru day is false. Look the details, Mzee Kenyatta is sitting on a chair which the leather is attached by rivets/Nails, Nut the red chair is sewed. There is wooded frame around Kenyatta's chair and a groove around the frame, The fake one is all covered, There Chair on which Kenyatta is sitting is Big, which towers above his head, this read one is tiny, In shot it is a lie half cooked just like the claim that Olduvai gorge is in Kenya.
