New sub here. I love it that you wear lashes that remind you of your mom. I’m 58 and I recall watching my mom tease her hair and use dippity-do and rollers. She was so gorgeous and winged her eyeliner perfectly. I bought your mature makeup course and absolutely love it! I think I might be allergic to the Korean sunscreen though, which is not good because it really felt nice when I put it on this morning. Anyway, I love your channel and think you are just gorgeous. Also I prefer horizontal videos but vertical is fine for close ups doing makeup.

Vertical is my favorite. I agree with MORE makeup is absolutely necessary for bright lights, pictures and videos. At least twice per month, I put on a FULL face of GLAM "Just Because" so I don't forget how to apply it on myself. It's lots of fun to see myself all dolled up. ❤

This was so fun to watch in segments today, as well as BEAUTIFUL overall upon completion!!!!! I was most taken by the eyes, so mission completed Michelle; I tried the eyes myself (short of false lashes) and I did more taupey colors with Amithyst outer corners… I felt so pretty, actually back in time to modeling days in my youth. So fun!!! I used my peachy-pink Pat McGrath lipstick as blush and lightly dusted all over with the new Seint powder. You are so inspiring, so talented, and such a great teacher! My husband asked me what I was doing, and I told him I was copying my Instagram friend Michelle for my 68th birthday present to myself. He looked at me in disbelief, but did tell me I looked beautiful, lol, so THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the close-up details! PS I’ll watch the vertical, but I’d rather see your world in the horizontal mode if I’m being honest. I feel I know you best in landscape… a treat indeed.

I love the vertical because you are so much closer. Haus Labs is my holy grail foundation. I've tried a lot, I like a lot, but I always wear haus labs for anything important. I have not tried the Milk Kush, but Nikki la rose talked about it as a 2024 favorite today. I do love love love my CT setting spray. It, too, is my holy grail. I also use one/size setting spray because it is absolutely no budge even in hot with high humidity.

Love this and your make up looks so much nicer than the celebrity version. I am going to be experimenting next year especially with lashes as will be Mother of the Groom in 26 🤗. I do like my liquid foundation mainly so to the point colour but hate that drying down factor. Need to play with cream in advance. Being more mature than you and my skin is more towards dry too. The lashes will be interesting 🤔. Have had lash extensions previously for a brief period so may try again for the wedding as don’t want to get stressed applying lashes on the big day 🤞.

I like landscape. Only because I have phone stands I use. They are by recliner, bedside and my office. IF I COULD, I watch videos on TV. So much nicer on a 70 inch landscape. Plus with the aging eyes, landscape is much better atleast for me. ❤

Prefer horizontal for long form videos . Whether on phone or on big screen, can see what you are doing better close up on horizontal view. Vertical view, things get cut off with a limited view. Now shorts, vertical may be a better fit. But regardless of format, great tips and great look!

Heavier lighting to resemble red carpet or special occasion lighting but the lens is clean so nothing should be blurry except when I zoom in in editing it won’t be as crisp

I prefer horizontal - almost never watch YT on the phone. I personally don't care for Lindsey's surgery. She doesn't look like herself, and looks definitely plastic. I feel like these surgeries promote unrealistic goals especially in young girls. Filters and heavily doctored images on social media are doing enough damage as is. ... Not a knock specifically on her - but I absolutely wish more women in the public eye would embrace aging gracefully and naturally, providing true role models for young women. I much prefer your approach of the 'look good close up' and looking "real" and love your everyday looks. I like today's makeup application - for very rare special occasions :) Blessings

Can't quite figure out your lighting on your new camara. I like the horizontal better. You say you don't do fillers but the lighting on this viedos makes you look like, you have no lines, wrinkles or discoloration.
