This is right up my alley as far as what I need as a mid 40 woman who has grown to love makeup, but need all the help I can get now that my age is poking thru. You have such a lovely personality. I am so happy I found your channel.❤ I’ll be binge watching all but the Seint videos😂especially the drugstore and affordable brands. Rarely do I find a high end or luxury product that I can’t find just as good in the drugstore for far less, but I absolutely agree with you on the brow products for blondes. It’s always a good day when someone finds an accurate blonde drugstore brow product- be it a pencil, pen, brow mascara, powder or pomade. They tend to have a green hue for some reason or run to warm or being straight amber. I love Katie Jane Hughes Annnd your longer videos too. This is really helpful!

I used the Elf “ Halo Glow” liquid. I posted a selfie on Facebook and sent a text picture to my best girlfriend who immediately said I used a filter or digital remaster my picture! I said nope used nothing! Hours later I was looking to see if my makeup from Elf still looked good and it dawned on me it was the Halo Glow from Elf. I also used Elf Glow translucent powder. I’m so impressed by Elf products and their ingredients!

I'm one of those gals who loves a full face of makeup. I love glam! I love the Kevin Aucoin, '80s super model gorgeous glam. I try doing a no-makeup look and it always turns into glam. It may not be a bright color or dark smokey eye glam, but it's still glam. I admire those women who can use the most subtle touches of makeup before leaving the house and facing the day, but that's not me. I often wear makeup even on my days at home when I only leave my house to go outside and do farm chores, LOL! As for your color/season.... You're a mermaid! Or maybe just a gorgeous butterfly. Work it! You look good in that rose color.

This is my first time watching one of your tutorials. I’ve learned so much! Thank you so much for not only teaching me but enlightening me! I am a registered nurse, retired, and I can tell you it seems like they put geriatric patients on the gloomiest, saddest units! They’re so cold and depressing. In some of the rooms there wasn’t even a painting on the wall! No stimulation for these poor elderly people! Seems like the message they’re giving is that because you’re old your life doesn’t mean that much! Every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect! The message that the healthcare industry is giving us elderly folks scares the hell out of me! Bless you for having the love and compassion for your Mom to never leave her alone in one of those “slaughterhouses.” I’ve loved ELF since they’re lipsticks, pencils, and even powder cost $1. I've had the unfortunate experiences of becoming a patient for the last 3 years; bouncing from one unexpected medical experience to another. Absolutely scared the @#$@ out of me when I was forced to begin my physical rehab in a "rehab. facility. " It was horrendous and frightening while supposedly one of the best in my area. Thank goodness, I had my wits about me and figured out very quickly that I needed to get out ASAP. It required a lot more family support that was quite a burden, but there was no way I was going to stay there. While there, one Nursing Assistant offered to help me w a dab of lipstick and a smidge of eyebrows. I was so happy! She made such a difference! Such minor things can change your entire outlook & actually improve your ability to heal quicker. I learned a lot thanks to this video! Best wishes!

You look great no matter what you put on. Being a Texan, I loved the makeup look in the 80’s and 90’s, but not so much now. I prefer a more sheer look. I think that French Face gives a greater coverage and still looks skin like. That is a great alternative for a heavier look without feeling heavy. When I do a full face of makeup, I look older. I really do up my skincare daily with products you recommended and follow the steps on Mature makeup masterclass for application. My Seint looks the best, or French face. I can go a little heavier on blush, but lip needs to be applied more of a tap tap. Eyeshadow needs to applied lightly and blended well to soften. Trying to look younger means easy light on makeup, which is all I did in my younger years!

I cant keep eye liner on but I did try something which worked! It was just an accident, a fluke. I grabbed an older large Morphe palette and used an angled skinny brush to put dry black shadow on as liner. Its been almost a yr using this particular routine every day and it stays on all day. Carbon shadow by MAC is similar to the Morphe black if you want to try it.

Really!! 😃 I somehow baked my lily white Irish complexion into a mahogany one & I looked about 40yrs old in my unnaturally Walnut coloured face, when I was only 21! 😂😂 My mother was horrified & I did reconsider when I realised what I was doing, so since about 1989 I started working on correcting sun damage. I used Estée Lauders Fruition at first, it was the best & only such product I knew of until I got right into researching products. Im more of a skin care worshipper /addict these days , I prefer our Irish, moist & cooler, climate too. Michelle! I am so glad I tuned in again. I love elf - I have been a fan of the company since forever (I am 58 years old). They just keep bringing it. I have many of the products you used today - beautiful look, lovely technique. (I chuckled - I still prefer using my fingers to apply and blend my foundation. That’s how I was trained in makeup artistry many years ago. ❤️👍

I just bought a few of the items your featuring. In the past, I have hated the elf halo glow...I couldn't match my skin right. I'm hesitant to buy it again. Shade 1 was to dark for me, so perhaps I'll try shade zero. I'm so very fair, with neutral undertones.. auburn hair, hazel eyes. I'm an autumn. Thanks for the education! This 48 year old thanks you! I love everything you did with this makeup look (the colors are wonderful!) and I'm super excited about using ELF again. Thank you so much. I have one small suggestion for a more mature face uplift which works for me... that is to not bring your blush and contour or bronzer down so far on the cheeks. If you place it higher and up towards the hairline above the cheeks it will lift the face. You have such rounded cheeks anyway, you don't need to emphasize the lower apple area. That seems to bring more attention to the inevitable gravity effects of our lower faces. Hope that wasn't overly critical because I truly love your videos and vulnerability and love your channel.

I’ve done plenty of videos with higher lifted blush but I don’t like it. No one in Hollywood does high and lifted. It looks too Golden Girls. I like wearing it in the apples and that’s how most real MUA do it because that is where we actually blush. Makes sense?
