I was a photographer in the US Navy. And I have a few simple recommendations for your setup. Use a mixture of natural light and led light. Cover your window with light white curtains so It diffuses the outside light. Set your camera for auto light , auto focus. If it appears still to light there is sometimes on higher end cameras + - f stop . You can minus an f stop so it doesn't look over exposed. But if you did the lights eventually you'll become satisfied. You just have to play with lighting.
@AA-cp8ryКүн бұрын
Isn't the light coming from outside "natural light?" If so, why you diffuse it with white curtains?
@liisabjork76Күн бұрын
@AA-cp8ry diffusing the light from outside which is natural is the sun. It can cast harsh shadows some days and comes in unfiltered. As a photographer with a flash I would sometimes put a piece of Kleenex over my main flash to control the harshness of my light. But the light coming in the window is pretty bright. The brightness can be controlled with different types of curtains. White ones. It spreads the light more softly on the face.

@@maturemakeupmasterclassHow helpful and informative! You need white sheers my friend. I have specified white sheers for every design client with too much sun exposure (contemporary or traditional) for 40 years. They add wonderful softness to any room. If you’re worried about how tall ready-made sheers should be, take them up as HIGH as possible (unless you’re going inside a recessed bay window). I believe Amazon has a good assortment. Measure the width of your window and double that; they look best if they are fuller as with any drapery. Happy shopping!

What a fabulous video and I learned so much The camera seemed fine. Feather blotting dust is the best for blending. I also mixed “foxy” and small amount of “ Zion” since I didn’t have trust. Gives a beautiful soft neutral look. Keep doing these videos my friend. You are the best. You are so genuine!!!

I think you’re all of us at one point or another, just keeping it together as it’s actively falling apart on you!! Totally relatable and part of the reason you’re so loved - keeping it real always ❤Definitely, the zoom in is so helpful with learning technique. I’m having such trouble with using eyeshadow as liner…I end up with it transferring to my under eyes mid morning. I know you say Black Friday sets to a powder finish…does it transfer? Love this look, love you ❤
@gretchenturner7132Күн бұрын
To help keep the shadow-liner in place, try using a flesh tone eyeliner stick underneath. I'll use the champagne eye brightener stick by Thrive to outline my lower lid and then go in with the powder shadow; pressing it in, and then gently sweeping the brush across.
@maturemakeupmasterclass5 сағат бұрын
I think it would transfer. Have you tried gel inks for liner??
