Love this line! People were telling me that my forehead was "looking smaller" and I was like wth?! I usually avoid mirrors just bun up and go but when I got brave enough to look at myself I saw my edges are growing back and I didn't even notice. They had been missing in action for 6 years after a bad relaxer and I gave up looking for them. 4 years natural and gonna do length check in March with flat iron.

I was so excited to try this line... Excellent first impressions review! I love the sweet fragrance. I can also say that my hair *loves* the shampoo. The rest of the line was just OK for my hair but it's still early. My issue: the ashy look my hair had afterwards. But you know how we are about #SheaMoisture - we are gonna find a way to make it work! I'll give it a few more tries before I decide. Well after searching at least five CVS stores I picked up the edge treatment and leave in conditioner. So far I like the edge treatment and will use the conditioner on my next wash. I wasn't sure if I wanted to try the styling lotion so I passed. But now that you gave such a rave maybe it will be a purchase once I find the other products on the ground. Preferably on sale 😊

I like to use the deep conditioning mask. I had the same problem with using too much at one time, which resulted in going through a bottle too fast. Therefore, I started scooping out three spoonfuls into a container and mix in a few drops of my Sunny Isle Jamaican black castor oil - this may be a good solution for you if you don't like using the oil as a sealant because of the smell. Plus adding a bit more of the oil wouldn't hurt the heating treatment. (I also use the JBCO with coconut oil in it from time to time). I've been using the mask and the JBCO for a few weeks now and I already see a difference in the thickness of my hair and my edges. Thanks for posting this review.

It does smell like play dough! I work at Sally's and we had a B1G1 on all shampoos and conditioners, so I decided to get the shampoo and the leave in conditioner, the shampoo feels soooooo good! It makes my scalp feel so clean. And it doesn't weigh down the hair! The leave in, again smells like play dough and since it was much heavier on my hair it didn't feel too great! But I just had to use way less and it worked better that way. I'm Mexican and I have color treated and wavy hair. So it was cool that it worked for my hair texture! Great review by the way!

amazing and detailed review! i was looking for something to really help my hair stay moisturized as i am studying abroad in the very HOT caribbean next semester so this definitely made me want to get the whole line to try. by the way, JBCO does smell horrible but if you literally pour it into anything else (conditioner/moisturizers/oils), it really dilutes the smell!

+Mocha Caramel The smell goes away after a while...strong smells make me sneezy in the shower lol! It's worth it for the hair growth I've seen though, I have before/after photo in my latest video. I'm really happy with Shea Moisture.

Barefoot Globetrot Yea I got kind of used to it the same day i decided to use it in a way. Now, I just love the smell lol. My hair has always been extremely thick but these products has made it more fuller than ever... I'm moving on to the Cantu line now to see if I'll get the same or any results. I'll use a line for 6 months then try something else..

Yes just got the Shampoo yesterday, & I've been going crazy anticipating about washing my hair which is something I don't look forward to. Lol Got the leave in conditioner, & I love the scent. It is like a play doh smell in a good way. But I enjoy walking around smelling it. I damaged my curls from heat, & hoping this can help me out on my journey to repairing it. I like the fact that it has Apple Cider Vinegar in it, because I did research on it, & it says that it's great for repairing curls. Super excited about going through this hair transformation of getting my long length curls back.

mznaturallife Yes definitely have seen a change in my hair since using the leave in conditioner along with using Coconut Oil. My hair is growing faster and it is getting its shine back! I know the shampoo has to work wonders.

I suggest using Jamaican black castor oil with lavender😊it smells great😍. Also with the leave in conditioner and the deep treatment masque I put them in the fridge to thicken it up and get it cold so it moisturizes and locks in that moisture🤗

Thank you! I thank you will like that Zanzibar and Black Pearl protein line. I was just taken away because it smelled so GOOD! It smelled like it should have been way more expensive than it was. I was in awe. It smells ALMOST BETTER THAN Manuka Honey Intense Hydration line. I have you funny feeling you will like this one. Again thanks for everything!

What took me soooo long to try the shampoo from this line? i guess it is the color of the shamoo that intimidated me and kept me away from the shampoo. I was blown away by the shampoo!! The shampoo is soooo moisturizng let very cleansing. Left my hair so soft and clean. I have been using the masque and leave in from this line and luv the line!

Love this video! I don't like blck castor oil smell either but Jamaican Mango Like had a castor oil mixed with Argan oil that smells amazing!!! This is the only castor oil I will use for my edges.

Jasmin Rivers lol! Yes! Shea Moisture rocks! The new Manuka Honey line just sowed up in my Target so I scooped up some! I've only tried the masque and rinse out conditioner because that's all that was available. So far, so good....not sure if it'll make my favorites. We shall see!

I thought the deep conditioner smell reminded me of play-doh too! But I love it and I've only used it once. Had to travel outside my city to get it, we don't have CVS in my town no more, but it was worth the drive.

+Kazibwe Alpha I don't see why not. I would say use it sparingly so you don't have build up. You might even dilute it with water to make a nice spray...just and idea.
