Wow, wow, wow! I have no words for how CLEAR this is becoming! For the longest I thought the Harlot was only a system of control that had nothing to do with modern Babylon and presumed the city was actually NYC since T-man was born there and it is the hub of the financial system and the UN, etc. This makes much more sense and is completing the understanding. I agree with your comment on the city not having to be that of New York or Los Angeles in size. The greek word used for city is Polis which just means many or a place of many people. When I have my small, extended family over for birthday celebrations my house is filled with many people. The size can in fact be small can still considered a polis. WELL DONE Brother... as Pauly and I have watched the course of these.. it makes PERFECT sense the top cats who rule would be underground... Human trafficking is the biggest business on earth to this day and I had looked up citron wood.. and of course these wicked ppl do sacrifices with it all right... the depths of Evil Father has shown Pauly and I over the past 15 yrs of the evils of all these wealthy... of the entertainment world.. all of them. .. worship the adversary. Hello there! Thank you for the post. No, it really can't be figurative. The hand and the forehead are mentioned because these are the parts of the body that are most often exposed. And there are already people with chips on the backs of their hands. This is, unfortunately, as literal as can be. Of course, we can draw analogies from it and make spiritual comparisons, as you are suggesting, and while this is sometimes helpful, it does not eliminate the literal truth. Glad you wrote.

Good morning Martin and fellow saints, I can’t think of too many more exciting topics to discuss than our snatching away and its possible nearness, and I love it Martin that you’ve made it OK and even fun to be talking about this. But there’s also been a lot of chatter here about the connection to Trump and how he might figure into this. This is going to be a long post and if you’re a big Trump fan, it will probably piss you off, so be warned. The narrative on this site seems to be that Trump is going to usher in an era of American economic prosperity and world peace, and that’s the signal that the snatching away is near. But in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, Paul says “Whenever they may be saying peace and security…” Notice there is no mention of “prosperity.” And it doesn’t say there WILL BE “peace and security,” only that people are talking about it. And since much of Scripture is Mideast-centric, I think it’s safe to say these events will center around there, not the USA. Martin, you’ve made it clear in the past that you are a political conservative and a Trump guy, so I suspect you are conflicted (as are others on this site) about your relative view in favor of his political prominence vs. the absolute view of him being the leading candidate for Paul’s “man of lawlessness.” Well, that description fits him to a tee, which is why I’ve started to believe he could actually be that guy. We’ve never had such a corrupt, lawless person serve as president. And he has yet to face any real consequences for his actions, and in fact, his escapes have been so miraculous that I think we can all agree that there is celestial intervention at work on his behalf. If folks here are expecting four years of Trump bliss, and that he will be the white horse rider who ushers in great economic prosperity and world peace, the Scripture does not say that. Rev. 6:2 says he will be “conquering,” but not all conquerors are benign, and whatever this rider brings in will quickly give way to the horsemen bringing war, famine and death. If we are talking a 7-year tribulation, the events surrounding the four horsemen have to be very rapid-fire, and if Trump is the guy, we shouldn’t expect his moment in the sun to last very long. I for one am hoping that’s the case, because in my relative view, I don’t think I can deal with four more years of the Trump shit show. And so for different reasons from many of the folks on this site, I also hope the snatching away will be soon. But from the absolute view, I am glad Trump won and he has escaped justice, because if that’s God’s overall plan, and if that what it takes to quickly put an end to this wicked eon and be with the Lord, I say bring him on.

I say with all the respect, you have what is known as Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s an actual thing. Trump is not a lawbreaker. He was unfairly persecuted. Even the Left knows that. He has not “escaped justice“ as you have said. He has been the victim of a “justice system“ gone awry in order to persecute its political enemies. We have already had prosperity in America since the election, and he’s not even officially the president yet. His first term was not a shit show, it was the best economy we ever had. it doesn’t seem like you pay very close attention to American politics.

But your response indicates you are more invested in Trump than I could have ever imagined. I haven't been able to figure out how someone with such tremendous insights into Scripture can be so blind about Trump. I do pay attention to American politics, but I focus on facts, not right-wing propaganda. If it makes you MAGA folks feel better to say people who don't support Trump and recognize his crimes, corruption and dishonesty have "Trump Derangement Syndrome," it says more about you than about me. He was indicted by a grand jury of US citizens and then convicted by a trial jury of his peers. If you paid attention, you would see the crimes were very well laid out and easy to comprehend. I suppose you didn't listen to the tape of the "perfect" phone call Trump made with the Republican Georgia election official or deny that he stole classified documents and tried to cover it up. I suppose you think the Jan. 6 videos are all fake and that it was a "peaceful protest," and that he didn't try to overthrow a legal election. I suppose you think the 20 women who have accused him of sexual misconduct are all making it up. That, Martin, would be deranged. The Trump economy is more myth than fact. Trump inherited Obama's growing economy, and when Trump left office we were in a recession brought on by the COVID pandemic which he mismanaged. Biden had better jobs growth, and lower unemployment, and we have the best post-pandemic economy in the world right now. We now lead the world in oil production. Gosh, I didn't think you were so hard-core MAGA, but you are. And you have not commented one bit about the Scripture that I cited or its relationship to current events.

I'm glad you wrote, Tony. I wrote a little quickly before from my phone, so now I can be more detailed. When Trump was president, we had the best U.S. economy in decades. Plus, we had no foreign wars. World leaders respected Trump. If you are looking for "a corrupt, lawless person [serving] as president," you need look no further than Joe Biden. His entire family has enriched themselves off of our foreign adversaries---this is becoming common knowledge. If there were any justice, Joe Biden, his son, his brother and others would all be in jail. (You may be unaware of his lawless dealings in Ukraine and elsewhere.) Actually (and this might make YOU mad), Trump is the cleanest politician there has ever been. No one has been more investigated than he. No one has had more tax-payer dollars dedicated to taking him down than Trump. And yet they found NOTHING against him except some minor clerical errors---and so they had to invent charges. Unfortunately, you are relying on what we know as "the mainstream media" for your news, and they hate Trump, accusing him of being a racist among a host of other things, (Trump hates Latinos, Gays, Whites, Blacks, dogs, cats, everything and everybody) and so you hate Trump because you have heard nothing but lies about him. (I recommend mixing-up your news sources a bit.) He's far from a perfect person, but he's still the cleanest politician to ever run for office----the proof being that after years of investigation they had to MAKE UP CHARGES against him, charges that didn't stick because they were all bogus. Most have seen this as weaponization of the "justice system" against a political opponent. (Like they do in the Third World.) This actually helped Trump to win the election, as the majority of the American people saw through the scam. I am not at all conflicted where Donald Trump is concerned. He will only become the man of lawlessness when he is killed and the Beast takes him over---much as Satan did with Judas. So you are missing a major point here: TRUMP, AS PRESENTLY CONSTITUTED, IS NOT THE ANTICHRIST. He will become that (if he's the man chosen by God) AFTER the spirit being takes him over. In the meantime, he will be a conquerer who will wipe out corruption in US politics and also our enemies abroad, such as the terrorists. We have the best of both worlds---a smart politician who actually represents and fights for the people, and then who becomes the antichrist after being killed and possessed. I don't think I've ever said that we will have 3.5 years of prosperity. I agree that people SAYING 'peace and prosperity' does not mean that peace and prosperity are here. Nevertheless, as we saw MUCH peace and prosperity during Trump's first term (which you curiously call "a shit show"), we can expect the same now---and in fact are already seeing signs of it. Probably just not a full 3.5 years of it. Please don't tell me you were a fan of Kamala Harris. (Well, to each his own.) But yes, it's good to talk about these things. Hope I haven't offended too badly. A majority of the American people got sick of politicians wanted a common-sense businessman in 2016 who knew how to get things done. Trump did just that. Recently the IDF had to rapid fire multiple bunker busters to get an enemy combatant and even with that extreme firepower, the guy died from asphyxiation from the explosions sucking the oxygen from his underground bunker not being blown apart. apparently there are miles upon miles of living storage medical sleeping travel spaces underground in the lebanon gaza areas all the way into egypt. Iran has boasted that israell would not be able to touch their underground facilities. We know that iraq has been a somewhat quiet or at least an area that has tried not to draw a lot of attention (from what i have seen) to themselves. So yeah, who knows what them Persians (or whomever) are up to in the babylon area. Oh, and lets not forget CERN and what they accomplished underground. Personal experience with underground cities, i was in Tokyo many years ago on a missions trip, and they had massive shopping dining entertainment subway train spaces all over the place.... underground. I remember even saying; wow, they have cities under the city.

Wow, this is one hell of a transparent comment, Zedek. I appreciate it. The attraction of Preterism is immediate satisfaction concerning all the declarations in our Lord's day, "Near is the kingdom." What did it for me was learning of the parable of Israel in the wilderness being "near to the promised land," but then wandering for 40 years. So there was a precedent! And as you say, anyone looking at this practically HAS to realize that the promises of God are a joke if Preterism is true. Because not only will God have reneged on His promises to Israel but, as I said in the video, we are now on the "New Heavens and New Earth." I am happy to hear that this simple but profound realization has killed Preterism for you. In my mind, Preterism is simply a fancy name for, "Not believing God's promises." In my constant quest for truth, I did some further thinking, praying and research concerning the idea that Secret Babylon could exist underground. There are examples of underground cities (or complexes) that exist today. NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) is constructed inside and under Cheyanne Mountain, in Colorado Springs. There has been much talk, in recent decades, about a massive city being built under the Denver airport. Some speculate that a deep underground military facility, part of the "COG" program exists on the site. A massive underground city to be used by our government in the event that Washington or our central governments command hub is compromised. According to some investigative reports, the underground city that lies beneath the airport quite possibly connects to other deep underground military installations throughout the country. So, your idea that Babylon may exist underground is not so fanciful. It is quite possible considering it has already been done and is being done right now. Notice that the scripture does not say that Secret Babylon is the only strong city in the world. There could be many by the time the unveiling occurs.
