Not all the infant names start with N. Makoua's baby is called Madiba. Shatilla is pregnant and her baby's name will start with S. In Burgers' Zoo (and also in Artis Amsterdam and Blijdorp Rotterdam) they give the baby's a name starting with the same letter as the mom. So N'Gayla's kids all start with N': N'Yaounda (now living in Budapest) N'Aika, N'Washi, N'Hasa and N'Kato. N'Gayla's mom had the name N'Diki. Nimba's kids are Nakou and Nukta. Makoua's baby is Madiba.

N'Aika is the youngest mom. They're both 9 now, but Makoua's birthday is 11 June; N'Aika turned 9 on 1 February.

I was guessing around 8 or 9. They are both such good moms. I have to say Makoua is my favorite because I just love that she has learned so much. If she is allowed to be a mom again in the future I am sure she will do really well. :)

No. This baby is offspring from another adult male who was living in the group till the beginning of February. Luckily the silverback (dad of N'Aika) accepted the baby.
