hello great to see you making such brill progress with your layout and i love the weathering affects you have done i will say i hate ballasting and painting the sides of the rails slow and mind numbing process but we have to do it. congrats on getting your dog like me i have just taken on a rescue dog from birmingham dogs home a husky called finley. so look forward to your next update keep up the good work. hope you and the family are all well and good luck for your up coming wedding. peter

Yes the process nearly killed me with boredom but I think the difference is noticeable, we tried to rescue from the UK but they just won't rehome to anyone with young children or cats so we ended up rescuing ours from Morocco!

That's really nice weathering and you've really nailed the scale effect which is difficult in N. Great vid👍

Always good to get the track complete, ballasted and weathered gives starts to give the layout that ‘finished’ look even when there is tons to do.

Yes I can agree with that, especially running some ncie weathered stock too

Great update and all the best for the upcoming wedding. One question though. I've noticed there's no tape on your point blades. Do you suffer from trains not passing over them at all?
@greatdeltan65562 жыл бұрын
I clean the point Blades with a cotton bud and white spirit afterwards, I find using tape I end up missing a bit of track sometimes

Hello I like to look of this layout really sets the scene so well, I especially like the weathering of those Cargowagons, did you do them yourself? Great work!
@greatdeltan65562 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The wagons were weathered by west coast models who did a great job on that as seen!
