நாகர்கோவில் நாயகன் கலைவாணர் NSKவின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாறு | History with V Sriram

In this episode of History with Sriram, we are travelling all the way to Nagercoil to watch the history of Kalaivanar NS Krishnan. He came from a very poor family, and his family was not able to afford him a school education. So he learned things of his own. He initially picked soda bottles and sold them on the drama sets. later he got an opportunity to work on the drams and he emerged as a Comedian of the century. NSK is known for his generosity, he is very simple and talked about more of human equality. In 1944 he is accused in a murder case of a reporter. So he is jailed in Chennai central jail. After 2 and a half years he was released from jail. He Hasn’t stopped entertaining people even after his Jail life. Finally, his home has come to auction, watch the full video to know about who rescued his house and also the current situation of the house.
ஹிஸ்டரி வித் ஸ்ரீராமின் இந்த அத்தியாயத்தில், கலைவாணர் என்.எஸ்.கிருஷ்ணனின் வரலாற்றைப் பார்க்க நாகர்கோவில் வரை பயணிக்கிறோம். அவர் மிகவும் ஏழ்மையான குடும்பத்தில் இருந்து வந்தவர், அவரது குடும்பத்தால் அவருக்கு பள்ளிக் கல்வியைக் கொடுக்க முடியவில்லை. அதனால் அவர் தானாகவே எல்லாவற்றையும் கற்றுக்கொண்டார். அவர் ஆரம்பத்தில் சோடா பாட்டில்களை எடுத்து நாடகத் தொகுப்புகளில் விற்றார். பின்னர் அவருக்கு நாடகங்களில் பணிபுரியும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது மற்றும் அவர் அந்த நூற்றாண்டின் நகைச்சுவை நடிகராக உருவெடுத்தார். NSK தனது பெருந்தன்மைக்கு பெயர் பெற்றவர், அவர் மிகவும் எளிமையானவர் மற்றும் மனித சமத்துவத்தைப் பற்றி அதிகம் பேசுபவர். 1944 இல் ஒரு நிருபர் கொலை வழக்கில் அவர் குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டார். இதனால் அவர் சென்னை மத்திய சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இரண்டரை ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு அவர் சிறையில் இருந்து விடுவிக்கப்பட்டார். சிறை வாழ்க்கைக்குப் பிறகும் மக்களை மகிழ்விப்பதை அவர் நிறுத்தவில்லை. இறுதியாக, அவரது வீடு ஏலத்திற்கு வந்துள்ளது, அவரது வீட்டை மீட்டது யார் என்பதையும், வீட்டின் தற்போதைய நிலைமையையும் அறிய முழு வீடியோவைப் பாருங்கள்.

Wonderful to hear from Kasthuri Ma'am. Nadigar Thilagam SIvaji Ganesan considered NSK his mentor. I had the opportunity to speak with Kasthuri Ma'am when I organized a Memorial Service for Nadigar Thilagam in New Jersey upon his passing in 2001. Natya Peroli Padmini also held Sri NSK and Madhuram Amma in very high regard and was very grateful for their support. She would talk about how "Madhurakka" was her chaperone when she went to act in Jis Desh Me Ganga Behti Hai.

Thanks for another excellent episode. Who could forget "விஞ்ஞானத்தை வளர்க்கப்போறேண்டி"? What an amazing forethought in his lines, especially - "அணுசக்தியால ஆயுள் விருத்தி பண்ணப் போறேண்டி" or "பஞ்சைக் கிழவர் தன்னை பால பருவமாக்கி நாட்டைக்காக்க". this is so touching. before u-tube documentaries, we didnt know much about true legends like NSK, Thiyagaraja Bhagavatar, Muthuramalinga ththevar, etc. people of my gen (50+) have heard our parents talk so fondly about those people - all their sources wouldve been magazines and relatable experiences in tough life. we couldnt get it why will any of these go murder someone. later we learnt they were framed by shameless crooks masquerading as politicians and others. sad stories.

I born and brought up in Chennai. When my son was born, I named my son's name KALAIVANAN to remember the legend. At least some one would ask the meaning of his name and understand. I like the way he treated the people and gave them what they want.
