It seems like Grim and Nighthaven may have went through with their threats and revealed Nøkk's Identity to the world, since we now know that she is no longer currently working with Ghosteyes and Rainbow, and is on Leave for a period of time...

it'd be cool if ubisoft did an arg with nokk's identity where you can hunt down the files that grim leaked about her and decide if you want to leave it be or try to secure it. It'll be a unique way to put out some more lore and get to know who nokk is better.

I speculated that she might be on leave, because she is trying to infiltrate Deimos´ group. I think she is the only operator who´d be able to do so and Cav is protecting her by not sharing any info as I doubt besides Nokk only Zero and Cav know about this mission.

I have a theory that Nokk actually sided with Grim in order to seek for info about deimos. He's not a command player, and as stated in bio, often uses others as tools. Kali ordered to find who infiltrated the base is, and he did it, but the main threat for nighthaven was actually deimos, who was still unknown to anyone: he stole gear, tried to make NH and R6 fight, but failed. Grim thought it was the R6 who stepped the line. When he knew about explosion and saw that no one in NH actually care, he could've contact Nokk to find Deimos. It was like "i don't care about your guys, but if we don't find him, he will destroy NH alongside R6 to hide evidence". Maybe he even promised Nokk to not relieve her identity if he helps. He may thought, that when r6 is done, Deimos will seek for former operatives like Finka, Ela, etc. And Kali with them. So basically Kali ordered him to find Nokk, but as the time passed, he actually understand Nokk was not a threat, while Deimos is a force to be dealt with or something bad will eventually happen.

Grim acting like he lost an online argument against Nökk

These latest stories make me think. Grimm acquired information on Nokk through threatening people. There might be a chance Grimm, and in return Kali, would get a lot more than just Nokk's identity from this security leak. If Nighthaven does not follow through with that threat of reveal, then Rainbow can easily call their bluff in the future. It's hinted that Nokk is the illegitimate child whose father is part of the Danish royal family. Her being exposed would cause a political and personal scandal. If Kali goes through with the threat, it could greatly weaken Rainbow. Making them much more vulnerable for Deimos, who has threatened to kill all of the operators. If Deimos can tap into Rainbow's comms and video feeds, and acquire Nighthaven gear, then there's also a chance Deimos can get info on, not just the operators, but their friends and families, too. Deimos is a man looking for revenge. In his mind, there are no innocents-just targets.

they're not a "threat" so much as their technology and numbers are- Rainbow could definitely dismantle nighthaven if they were to fight, but nighthaven has extremely advanced tech and weapons that have been stolen by terrorists (deimos) so theyre at an impasse.

I find it hard to get into the story beats that involve operators being injured when it has no effect on the game play. It could possibly be interesting if they were to do something like say Thermite is unavailable until like the midseason reinforcement update when they could also release the next story beat including him being healthy enough to return to action. They could do something similar with other operators throughout the coming seasons especially for the operators that tend to be over picked. Take them out for a bit to force players that main specific ones to adapt to newer tactics, maybe even work on loadout refreshes or something for when they return, new weapons or secondaries that they might naturally lean towards because of something that happened during their time out of the units. It just feels a little disappointing that all this lore that comes out and would be amazing in a full single player/co op R6 story is relegated mostly to new outfits.
