I've been doing some research about these songs and I just want to help clarify some details about them. First of all, the original song is Chinese, not Japanese or Cambodian. The original song was composed by Ren Guang (任光) and is called "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon" (彩云追月), which itself, is a Westernized version of an old traditional Chinese song. Ren Guang's version is the inspiration for pretty much all other Asian versions you hear, including the Japanese and Cambodian adaptations in this video. Secondly, the Japanese adaptation featured here is sung by Rumiko Koyanagi (小柳ルミ子), but the Japanese woman shown in the picture (on the right) is actually Mizuko Takamine (高峰 三枝子). Yes, it's true that Mizuko Takamine also performed her own version of this song, but again, the version you hear in this video is sung by Rumiko Koyanagi (NOT the woman in the picture). Finally, the Cambodian version featured here sounds to me as if it has been edited to sound more "modern" or "pop-style" than it originally was. In my opinion, the UNEDITED Cambodian version sounds far better as it maintains that classic 1960's/70's psychedelic style to it. You can check out the unedited Cambodian version by visiting the KZbin channel *Borisot Khmer* (just copy and paste *បុប្ផារុះរោយ Borisot Khmer* into the KZbin search bar and you'll find it). By the way, the singer of the Cambodian version is Ros Sereysothea (រស់ សេរីសុទ្ធា). I hope this was helpful!

南の花嫁さん is in fact adapted from a 1935 Chinese melody 彩雲追月 composed by 任光

បុប្ផារុះរោយ is directly adapted from the original Chinese melody 彩雲追月,NOT from the modified Japanese version 南の花嫁さん
