Nürburgring Nordschleife BTG ST205 28/07/15

This is what I come here for! To attack a dry Nordschleife.
I've edited a lap together as there was traffic on pretty much all of my laps. Still not ideal in some areas but it's close to a decent lap. Don't think it's bad for around 25 total laps on circuit!
Car is a Japanese 94 Toyota Celica GT4 ST205. Tyres are Nankang NS2R Soft.

Not bad at all without the passenger and a bit of tidying up you could get that beast into the 7 minute region. I have an st205 myself but too scared to take out to the ring!

Very nice! I'm taking my gt4 there this summer. How's your car setup geometry wise? I currently have -2 deg front -1.5 rear and little toe out front pretty much 0 rear.

Awesome man! And thanks :) You'll love it at the Nurburgring. Geometry wise I run zero toe front and rear. With Tein springs on the stock suspension setup I get around 1.5 degrees negative camber on the fronts. Also, I've got a Whiteline roll bar on the rear and on the middle setting out of three the car tends to oversteer under trailbraking. Do you have coilovers?

Great driving mate! I think I remember your Celica in the parkinglot. I was at the ring with my onkel and dad in our two silver Toyota stationcars. I think I remember that we were talking to you and you girlfriend actually. LOL funny to see these videoes with someone you've met :-D

I have a st205 running 320hp but your vids funny. Are you running dylithium crystals in your warp engine. Speed the vid up to get a faster time lol

Hey! I used a Hero 4 silver with a gooseneck attachment. As my roof liner is stripped out I've got a flat helmet mount glued to my roof, and the go pro hanging down from that :)

Not usually. It does once at 6:24, but that was me bringing the clutch up too early while shifting. When does it happen?

Pingman I just played through a few full laps and cut them together in Premiere Pro. You could easily do it in any video editing software though :)

I guess but living in Europe must be awesome you have race tracks and beautiful roads , i can't really make use of my car here , what mods have you done to your car ?

Yeah it's a great place to be for tracks that's for sure! The roads in the UK are questionable though... Mod wise the car is pretty standard. Tein lowering springs, polybushed rear arms, boost controller at 1.1bar, Fidanza flywheel, 3" straight through exhaust, then I've fully stripped it :)

You bringing this up made me check! Peak power on a stock rev3 3sgte is at 6k. So shifting around 6500k is about right
