to save you guys sometime, the current most voted horizon car is the SLR McLaren. But it is over 10 years old so it will not be modern. The most voted modern car is the GR Yaris at 1938 votes. Other top voted modern cars are the Gemera with 1867 votes, Bolide at 1754, MC20 at 1527, Revuelto at 1358 and the 911, 992 generation at 1025, which includes the new GT3RS. The Sian Coupe is more voted than the Porsche but is unlikely to be added.

The complete 180 that playground have pulled off over the last year-plus of updates should be a much bigger story than it has been. It’s been one of the most impressive turnarounds I’ve ever seen in gaming…and it makes me hugely, hugely excited for FH6.

It's still the same game, they're just adding better cars now. Is a game all about the amount of cars you can drive? I don't think so... It still has the same boring map, DLCs that aren't connected, only a few convertible cars with working roof, still no real progression as you're a millionair in a few hours of gameplay. Where's the complete 180?

@@jondasek anti-lag, launch control, doubled the number of widebodies, totally overhauled photo mode, massively expanded event lab, drift camera added, utterly insane cars added on a regular basis(SCV12 to name just one)... If you can't see the difference in the updates before the rally expansion and after the rally expansion then you're blind.

fh6 is really in development if not in early stages. i saw last month that they are hiring staff for the horizon team which mostly focus on environment/world building. so yeah, that screams they're in the process of concept building and might have an alpha build soom *this can be seen at careers page at PGG's website

Hopefully, and this is just me dreaming, the new "highly requested" car is the 992 GT3RS. They've added the regular 992 GT3, so it could happen. I think the thing I'm most excited for is that they're FINALLY remodeling the cars that need it! I'm an R32 Skyline fanboy and don't really ever drive mine in the game because the front end looks so bad, lol.

sad to see the continuation of the wierd and common reward cars where they could easily be reruns. why have an NSX *again* when we could have the lancia 037? not topical to the series but hey the caddy limo has literally never been rerun and its been like 1.5 years since it was added?? literally only encouraging modding by not rerunning the exclusive cars even remotely regularly. Happy to see the citroen BX 4TC, think thats the first citroen branded car in the game..? The "modern" part of the next update has me worried with the "highly requested car" part, Im hopeful that its the current yaris, bugatti bolide, or maybe the merc SLR since those are the "modern" cars most voted on the forums, but I really hope its not a tesla, especially not the cybertruck. the Corsa G is more requested than any tesla on the forums, if youre gonna say highly requested let it actually be one that the fanbase is voting for, dont let it be a vocal minority getting that truck in the game...

With the confirmation of the devs begining working on updating the extremely outdated car models I really hope it means they are raising their quality standards for once, but i wont raise my expectations knowing it's microsoft who owns them. And I hope they slow down or stop with the paid dlcs not covered by the ultimate edition because it is absurd paying up to 100 bucks for a game and having to pay almost the base game's price for a few cars.

Amazing stuff . Horizon keeps delivering I just feel like they have more resources over at Playground Games. I really hope the highly requested car is the 992 GT3RS 😅 I keep voting for it !! It’s just gosh❤❤❤ As far as car modeling I suspect that is unfortunately way far off unfortunately. I am thinking Horizon 6. Still driving these older incorrect models is jarring.

I mean none of the older games have had regional stations, there wasn't like an Australian station for FH3 or anything. They usually just pepper in regional artists into all the stations.

PGG Explained that, in Mexico, most Radio Stations play 90% English Songs, with the odd Regional Artist Peppered in here and there, its more Realistic to not have a Purely Mexican Station.

The majority of the cars being reworked are Japanese as listed... hope the next Horizon is set for Japan.... hope it is, makes sense since they would probably be in Japan to scan those cars to get the pristine cars that are in the respective manufacturers museums

There was a comment on last month’s stream about one of the devs playing civilisation 6, and their country being Japan. I only hear about this from others so I don’t know how throwaway the comment was, but a lot of people felt it was a nudge-wink about the location of the next horizon. I think there’s another strong reason to think it’ll be Japan, and that is the change in the leadership. The new team seem much more open to community input.

The JNPA are not at all likely to allow a Horizon Game to be set in Japan because Horizon promotes illegal Street Racing and Dangerous Driving, and the JNPA are currently in a Crackdown on all Media that Promotes such things.

You never talk about negative or bad things about this game. Like them changing the way the cars handle a few times now. It's great they add these cool cars. Some of these new cars are stupid. Like the new Mitsubishi time attack Lancer. Where are you going to put this car? S1 or S2? Max out it does get to 998. Trying to make it into 900 well now it's not so special.

@@HokiHoshi I gave some things I don't like. It's a real bummer when they create a new car and you can't use it. Then there is the electric cars that don't have an option for gears, only one. I don't even know when they changed the AI. On day one they wouldn't go sideways to ram you as you're trying to get around them. I already mentioned how the cars don't handle the same as day one. I kind of feel I got ripped off. The game is very different now than on day one. I guess that's why there isn't that many people playing this game anymore...

@@anamerican1054 Just because a car doesn't fit into the top of a class doesn't mean you can't use it, that's silly. There's 850 cars in the game, not every single one needs to be competitive for online use. The TA Evo is a blast to drive around and do custom races and event labs with, if you don't think you can use it - that's kinda on you. Electric cars don't have gears in real life either - I'm not sure what the criticism is for that? The last physics update was with update 11 almost two years ago, it was covered extensively and seen as a positive change across the board. It was a pretty minor change anyway that really only affected offroad handling - and again, it was a good change. Also, Horizon 5 is the most played racing game in the world, by a significant margin. It still has hundreds of thousands of active players and gets thousands of new players every day. Not sure why you think there aren't a lot of people playing it.
