I'm excited for this game. I have been following them on twitter for years hoping for a release. This is the best racing game ever. Tokyo xtreme racer Zero was my favorite, and I started to play it again on emu. TXR0 has a special video in it showing the racers over there was a good video.

okay, I'm sorry, last comment: as someone who just recently in the last month first played GT4, I want to offer a bit of criticism to the individual responsible for having _Oh Yeah_ by Yello play every ... single ... time ... I ... lose at getting a license: bravo. congratulations. absolutely hysterical. I actually find myself frustrated at failing, the song starts and I'm even more annoyed, the song keeps playing as my dumbass car is stuck in a ditch upside down, the song keeps playing, and I'm laughing again. seriously genius. very, very bold. it's an ACTUAL trolling. and it's glorious. the biggest game company in the world in 2004, Sony, allowed that trolling to happen. genius. couldn't be further from sarcasm. I'm laughing just thinking of it.

by the way I absolutely and completely agree with the first four minutes of this video. starting small with a beater and working your way up and up and up is the reason I play games like this. in FH5 I was gifted a Hoonigan by what, the third race? and I'd won my first Ferrari by the roulette wheel reward in under an hour. booooooooo!!! it's also really sweet to get an older game like Forza Motorsport 7, be all fresh and eager to start your journey, sign in and suddenly receive all the years of free gift cars from back when the game was still live. (not one but THREE 999/999 hyper F1 race cars. a McLaren. several Porsches. so much for much of the journey - I thought getting a Porsche GTR is supposed to be a major, major deal?) again I offer my take on that: BOOOOOOOOO!!!

everyone wants solo. _everyone_ wants a solid offering for solo play. I mean that almost literally. if the internet's down or there's update issues, if there's planned server outage to FIX the update issues, if you're tired of being worked by people who play the game for work, if you just want to test your skills on something, if you don't want to deal with the stress of competitive play against humans, if you PREFER the idea of escape in your video games, if you prefer a stable gameplay experience, if you want a repeatable race, if you DO do the game for work and all you find is us suckers who can't drive, on and on etc. etc. you go online and get rammed. figuratively and literally. you go online and the guy you're beating quits the race. you go online and they don't know what they're doing. you go online and you get hateful bile from a bored teenager. you go online and you risk dealing with the truly infinite lameries of humans, especially when we get competitive. 90% of my time is spent solo. probably much more. online is an option if I DO want to engage with all the crazy things people can do. the thing about gaming is it's not the same as movies - if you're in the theater watching _Oppenheimer_ and you can't deal with the girls singing "Barbie Girl" in the front row, the SHOW'S ruined. not the movie. with a game you actually lose great experiences sometimes when dealing with online people. sometimes their connect just gives out. it does for me. angry-closing happens absolutely every race in Forza Horizon. I do believe GT7 players would be a lot more measured and calm because it's a much harder game. I'd think you wouldn't get quite so much ramming and quitting and whatever. (I happen to think the solo content is quite strong, but I started just last year, dunno how it was at launch). when gaming goes all-online I think I'm done with gaming. you know that's what the last Gran Turismo was about -- that only-online one. they were testing the waters of no longer bothering to create single player content. luckily for us, people flipped out.

The new game is boring, insulting to Hispanics, and it is absolutely trash compared to Midnight Club

So I played as a female character in this game and the dialogue between the characters felt realistic and heartfelt. Maybe playing as a dude throws the relationship off between the four characters 🤷‍♂

I honestly wonder about how valid some of these times are. Some of those laps seem to perfect to be legit.

Game will be ded with in a week. Without damage models and crash physics with a crash cam... This game will get boring asf... And this game will be nothing but a tryhards racing game... 💀💀

What about wheel spacers that bring the tires out the fenders far for like trucks or SUV’s to make them look better and cooler? 😊

I started with this series with tokyo extreme challenge on the dreamcast, and after that, tokyo xtreme racer zero on the ps2 ans....oh my god, I have so good memories with this game! I even could say that is was THE game that made me love car racing games .... very hyped to the new version <3

11:40 and then you have the mad lads who try using both understeer and oversteer to trigger a 4 wheel drift, which is extremely useful for technical corners and can be the fastest way around those technical corners if you execute it right

There are so many different content creators with many different opinions on which is the best Forza Horizon. I don’t think there are any “Best”. I believe there is that game that someone really enjoys. For example…. Some enjoy “Dragon Age The Veilguard” despite the obvious changes that was made to the game. Others do not. Some folks enjoy playing games others don’t. I personally don’t like Forza Horizon 5. Playing the previous entries, for me, there are things and set pieces that feel off. Everyone has their opinion and entitled to share it. Great video though!

See I had Tokyo Highway Challenge 1 and 2 for the Dreamcast, loved them but I never followed the franchise further, but the new game announcement has my interest

my favorite unique gameplay mechanic in TXR was the PA system in TXR Drift as well as the message board. The concept of each racer having a real identity, a synopsis about who they are and that in turn affecting how they race is pretty awesome. its also pretty hilarious and cool that you can see them on the message board talking about random stuff or trying to start beef with other people like a real forum lol. it really adds a whole different layer of immersion to the game and considering TXR 2025 is adding the ability to go to PA's in the game, I'd be cool if they allowed you to interact with the racers in new ways which in turn affect you gameplay wise kinda like the karma system in fallout new vegas.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this performs in Early Access, it definitely has a niche to fill which has been sorely lacking

Better livery designer Better paint options and bring paints from other cars

@HokiHoshi this guide is fantastic and got me back into my favorite game of all time! My first round of modding went perfectly, but today I added some more cars and made a new game profile, but the cars still don't show up. Is there a limit to how many cars can fit into the game? Actually now that I think about it, all the cars I added the first time also didn't make it into my game when I play it!

Isn´t that complicated following the japanese logic: Highways: Shutokou Battle Touges: Kaido Battle I think the change of names is because several publishers worked to lauch their games. Ubisoft, Konami, Crave, Jaleco...

I make changes in the Extra Options .ini file but they don't seem to work, any help? Specifically I change "UnlockAllThings" and "RemoveLockedAreaBarries" to 0 but there's no effect in game. The whole map is unlocked at the start of the career, as well as every upgrade and customization option. Only the cars aren't available.

The issue is nobody who is an offroad nerd goes to play horizon. I NEVER see ANYONE driving on offroad roads simply for the joy of it. The people asphalt roads to drift, race or cruise on. Its that simple. Dont bother wasting 50% of the games roads on dirt trails when only 2% of people use them like actually. It doesnt make sense. 50% dirt roads. 2% use them. The balance is off. Why waste a whole mountain side on a dirt trail no one ever uses when you could've had the nicest sunset mountain descent driven on by MANY.
