Buy a 2000 Nissan Silvia in the auction for $4,000, then covert it with a 3.2L inline 6, turbo charge it, give it a rocket bunny widebody kit, max out the tire width (with race tires), then max out everything else until you get it to 900. That will be a 720HP car with flawless handling that beats a Ferrari 458 Pista. Set AERO downforce on your rear Forza wing to 398 lbs for roadholding (unless you want more ability to drift). Use race suspension, of course, don't EVER use drift suspension because the -5 degree front camber makes the car useless.

I still play both FH4 and FH5. FH5 mainly to keep up with progress and have all the vehicles. FH4 has a much better mood, vibe. Yes, the seasons are one of the main reasons. Also I like the music better in FH4. It's in much better harmony with the UK scenery. But because of this, the whole feeling of the game is better for me. Of course this is a highly subjective opinion. Also I played with my daughter together FH4 during covid. When we finished the LEGO add-on we bought those LEGO cars and built them together. She knew all car manufacturers from the game, and when there was a task in school to draw a car, all boys drew American muscle cars, she drew a McLaren Senna. There was a 5s silence in the class :D She also plays with FH5 lot less then with FH4 :(

Any time you go to do Forzathon challenges in FH4, there are at least 10 people who will be doing the same challenges with you. While on FH5 99% of a time I'm doing it alone, with one other person at best. It's the same in freeroam. Like the game is hiding players from your screen or smth. Play both games and it will feel like FH4 has 3-4 times more players

Its the way they did the servers, fh4s servers are lobby based, so you will always be able to see and interact with the players in the lobby, given they dont leave. In fh5, the servers are map based, so if youre 1 ft away from another map node, and there are 100 players on the other side of the line, youll never see them unless you cross that very arbitrary line. There also seems to be another lobby based system built within that too, so even having 100 players in one map node is probably impossible, as theyll be split between different instances, anyways.

fh4 is just extremely endearing to me, and the youtubers who have made videos on it over the years have only added to its charm, such as yourself, deoxide and many others. the game itself hits many different spots for me, from the uk setting to the theme of seasons, the homes, the landmarks, the online features, the radio, in-game events (both online and singleplayer), the customization (although sometimes lacking but forgiveable), the breathtaking graphics and its over all design and presentation, with everything coming together to create the perfect simcade racing game for me. i've been a fan of it for so long, and the sale earlier this year finally allowed me to get the deluxe edition, which i dont think i'll ever regret. i hope they keep the servers up for a long, long time after this, even if nothing new gets added, because this game is absolutely timeless

As someone who plays forza Horizon 3 every evening with friends and randoms (adventure) i can see why people choose horizon 4 over 5. Horizon 5 is empty , sand sand and more sand , and then they also gave us a beautiful dlc with more... SAND! horizon 4s map is really really good! This video reminded me of the delisting, so I literally bought the premium version on sale a few days ago. Been playing it again for the last few days, and came back to make this comment. It's so much fun and refreshing, there's so many nostalgic memories I have associated with this game. I also always and even when FH5 came out, liked the map of FH4 more. I realized in my first week of FH5 how empty, desolate, bland, and boring FH5's map is compared to FH4. I've also realized now after replaying FH4, just how straight and long the roads in FH5 are. In FH4, the roads are way more interesting and you're not just flooring it the whole time.

Someday I would like a "Forza Horizon World" which basically incorporates every map from every Forza into one single game. Microsoft is really pushing streaming games on various devices, so they should be able to make larger games and host them on servers with players streaming the game on the device of their choosing. Imagine starting the game and picking the region of your choosing to start the game, which impacts the type of car you start with and what kind of cars you can buy. For example, you'll find more American Muscle cars in Colorado than you would in Italy. Complete all the events you want in Colorado and then drive to the airport and hop on a plane for Italy/France or Australia and so forth.

I started the forza series with fh3 way back and when fh4 released, I was stoked so I got it on my Xbox and I got both expansions since the game was just so full of life and color. Now when It was like $15 or something for ultimate edition on steam I knew I had to get it. Playground games did an amazing job on the open world aspect and in the way you build up your rank in the festival. Unlike fh5 where you are basically already at the top.

Back in 2018, I played Forza Horizon 4 on my friends Xbox and I immediately wanted the game. I didn't have the hardware to be able to run the game, so I never bought it. That all changed this past summer when I got a new laptop. A few days before I got my laptop, I saw a post that said Forza Horizon 4 was going on sale, so ended up buying the ultimate edition. It was the best twenty dollars that I have ever spent on gaming. I love the game so much and simply don't see the reason to switch over to horizon 5.

A few days ago I got a notification from the steam app on my phone saying that forza horizon 4 is on sale I didn't think too much of it A few days later I went to check out because It was a game I always wanted and hope that one day I would have it So I went to check how much it was and......... 20$ for the ultimate edition , 13$ for the normal edition...... THAT IS A REALLY GOOD DEAL Then I rushed to a store and bought a gift card for steam , put the code in and bought it instantly And of course... I bought the ultimate edition :) Couldn't waste such a good deal ngl Now I got a few free cars, VIP, map expansion.... Literally everything you needed I think it's a great game with stunning visuals Especially if you play at ultra settings I think it's the best game purchase I ever made :)

I bought Horizon 4 used off ebay in May of this year for $8 + $8 shipping. Do this: Buy a 2000 Nissan Silvia in the auction for $4,000, then covert it with a 3.2L inline 6 (which I think is the 1997 BMW M3 engine?), turbo charge it, give it a rocket bunny widebody kit, max out the tire width (with race tires), then max out everything else until you get it to 900. That will be a 720HP car with flawless handling that beats a Ferrari 458 Pista. Set AERO downforce on your rear Forza wing to 398 lbs for roadholding (unless you want more ability to drift). Use race suspension, of course (don't EVER use drift suspension because the -5 degree front camber makes the car useless). Leave it rear wheel drive or the steering gets numbed when you convert it to AWD.

I actually preferred Forza horizon 5 over 4. I loved the scenery and the straight forward seasons (just summer with some rains). I do wish if the developers could add a focus mode or something for the next game, just something that you can enable to play the game without all the live service stuff, without feeling lost as a beginner. Getting tons of cars and what nut in the beginning was very annoying.

Horizon 5 is barren. No NPC's, no players, no anything! It's such a shame they haven't fixed the servers. It feels like you are playing this game alone. I want to be able to see where people are, and go there! And not have them disappear when you turn up! I liked that about FH4, I knew where activity was, and I could drive there to interact and see other cars. It is littered with bugs and inconsistencies, there are so many tiny changes I could make to FH5 that would make it a noticeably better game. Allow me to favourite paint colours. Make wheel painting options consistent across all wheels. Why can i paint the wheel nuts on only one set of wheels? allow me to change the colour of the wheels without the decals disappearing! Allow me to change the paint colour without the wheel colour resetting. The forza wing! give me some end plates at the very least! Allow me to make every car stupid low. The Lack of consistency is frustrating.

I bought Forza 4 several years ago from the MS store. It ran ok then, but I just got a new system with an RTX 3060 GPU and I'm having a blast. I then bought Forza 5 and Flight sim and still trying to download them ( esp. Flight Sim ) . 4 is great,, these other 2 are making me dislike PC gaming. Its like I can't get a clean install.

Its Microsoft store, It have been that always. The xbox app its a UI its use Microsoft store too so no difference. Thats why I bought FH5 on Steam its works better. Microsoft removed Horizon 4 from Steam and Microsoft store so cant buy it on Steam. I own it on Microsoft store but the games seems to work worse on there than Steam.

I'm in that camp of playing FH4 way more than FH5. In fact when I initially downloaded FH5 via the Xbox game pass, I honestly didn't even get round to playing it for months just because I'd heard mixed reviews and I still very much enjoyed FH4. When I did finally play it, despite the map being huge it just felt lifeless. There's no big cities. Most of the map is empty country side and desert. The best feature/character of the map is probably the massive mountain you can drive up which admittedly does give you an incredible view of the whole map when you get up there and take it all in but overall I just don't feel inspired to play it. Outside of the mountain and probably the stadium, there's very little memorable parts of the map for me when the previous game has lots going on when it comes to memorable spots and features. For FH4, first thing that always gives it massive appeal to me is being Scottish myself, it's pretty cool to see a scaled down version of our Capital City in the game. That's awesome to see Scotland get some kind of recognition in video game form. But overall the FH4 map just seems to have more character. Yeah there are some wide open fields with nothing really going on but it doesn't feel vastly big and lifeless like FH5 can at times. Something interesting isn't always too far away in FH4. The map is big but not too big. I genuinely think I know the full soundtrack of Horizon Bass Arena by heart now that I've cruised around listening to it so much in FH4 (same goes for FH3, actually) meanwhile I can't really tell you a single song in FH5. None of the tunes have buried themself into my head and stuck with me compared to the Bass Arena channel on the previous 2 games. Of course The Seasons is a great feature and I cannot understand the dislike for snow. When we get the winter season and the lakes all freeze over, it adds a new dynamic to the map. That's awesome. My strategy is always when we get the winter season week, I just ensure I always use 4WD cars/rally cars when driving around. There's the Fortune Island add-on which I only got into recently because like many I was given a choice where I had to outright buy FH4 as it would no longer be on the Gamepass, so when I picked up the VIP Bundle I finally got a shot of Fortune Island and much like the main game, it's a map that's big enough to be interesting without being too big and there's always the chance of seeing the Northern Lights when you go to there haha! Overall the crux of it is they went too big for FH5 and picked a pretty uninspiring location. It's still good in its own right but having driven all the roads on it, there's just nothing very interesting in the vast Mexican landscape to draw me in constantly and I'd much rather than have the snowy landscape of the winter season that driving into a sandstorm.

The physics are significantly better on wheel on FH4! The roads always give you something to think about and you can't just floor it going 200mph everywhere and feel like your car is on rails. For me, the only good thing about FH5, is the new cars. FH4 is just a better game!

Just wished it had more music to choose from and more off road, but ig according to the British setting they have ample off road, i mean it can never conpete with mexican/American terrain.

I went from FH5 to FH4 because I'm a franchise collector. I stayed because of the map and the lack of pressure from FOMO. It kills the drive to play FH5 when you're constantly thinking "what if I miss out on this car", so you force yourself through races and missions you don't care about. I'm thinking about doing a full reset of my car collection in FH5, keeping them all stock until I have them all, then buying another of each for building.

The announcement that Forza Horizon 4 would be delisted in December and the subsequent sale on Steam fortuitously tied in with me finally getting a PC powerful enough to play Forza Horizon 4 so it's the racing game that I have been playing the most over the past half year or so. I'm in no rush to play Forza Horizon 5, I'm not even sure how well it would run on my second-hand gamer PC with only a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 card (which is fine for my general gaming needs as almost all of the games I'm interested in playing on it are at least half a decade old). I'm also a big fan of autumn and winter scenery in video games so I definitely love Forza Horizon 4 in that regard, I just wish we could toggle between seasons at will. I know winter isn't the best season to race hypercars but that's fine with me as I rather enjoy bouncing around the snowy hills in an all-wheel drive Ferrari GTC4Lusso.

in the case of racing games it's the licensing for the cars and music. Those licenses need to be renewed after a certain time and if it costs more than their sales of course they are not going to extend the licenses. It's a business choice at the end of the day.

Horizon 4s map was so much better! It had roads that seemed like actual driving roads that had a destination. 5 just had a bunch of aimless roads that go from long bends to sharp meandering corners. The roads are almost impossible to drive down without running off.

I play FH4 for three reasons: I felt like the difference between FH4 and FH5 wasn’t great enough to justify switching I already had all my favourite cars in FH4 (and all the other cars I’ve wanted are all available on FH4) and didn’t feel like dumping hours into a game to get those same cars It gave me the Senna right off the bat so I felt like any idea of progressing to the hypercars from the sports cars was gone

Not only was Horizon 4 a fantastic game with the setting in my home country, but it was also what got me and my friends through lockdown in 2020. It allowed us to still keep connected and play together, and for that I'll always love it.

if i am gonna be honest, fh6 should 100% allow people to add custom atleast visual upgrades per mods. Maybe even new cars for singleplayer. In that case they need a thing like gta where story is in solo and multiplayer has races and stuff.
