As many times I've seen NYC Breaker vids, I've never seen flip rock do three consecutive flips till now. Thanks for sharing.

Al Boogie (an old school pop-locker from Harlem) is working on a DVD about B-boys from NYC... Yeah, sometimes I make phone calls to NY (but since I live in Europe it's expensive) and talk to Al, Liquid Robot Bam Bam, Tiny Love and some other dancers...

2:09 its true! I was born in 1985 and started breaking in 91-92. Once I was pushing 20 in 2005 I completely stopped bc I started slowing down, I was good but couldn't keep up the the same way when I was 13 - 16 years old, it happens.

Tricks vs Dancing I think this can depend on how you view the role of power moves. From what I've read in interviews RSC members feel there's an over emphasis on power moves by todays dancers. They view PM's more as tricks rather than actual dancing. I've heard other people say that Power Move oriented dancers lack rhythm for example. PM's are cool but combine them with actual dancing is what they're saying.

An Olympic Event if never became. Too bad breakdancers never made REAL MONEY like rappers do. So much hard work, time spent and talent, but yet, no REAL REWARDS.

Funny how they thought 25 was "retirement age" back then. LOL A lot of good breakers and poppers nowdays are in their 20's,30's even 40's.

Powerful Pexter is now in his 50s and still doing windmills and head spins. Kidd Nice could’ve still done it but he became a professional bodybuilder so is probably too bulky to be doing it. Chino Action Lopez also became a professional bodybuilder. Crazy Legs just does footwork competitions.

respect and all to the nyc breakers, but bboying/ breaking should not be a olympic sport, cause it is an art form, not a sport, its expressing yourself, not really the competitive kinda thing

@CrowdPleeza times change. To a regular spectator, breaking is undoubtedly about powermoves, but even to me powermoves without decent footwork is plain pathetic.
