TL Sting... my favorite plane. I owned one in the Netherlands (with 3 other persons).

Great video. Even funnier comment from Ed!

Sounded like a great 3D printing project until they sent you the parts! Also, I'm happy I beat ol' Scott Tuttle to the comments

My first thought was to print new ones, but when I opened them the inside seemed too intricate for my basic CAD skills with a couple circuit boards inside.

You got me subbed buddy! :) I would like to know how you check your engine gauges in the dark? I used to fly TL-96 quite some time ago and there was a digital display for all the engine instruments which was practically useless in the takeoff run. Great plane though.

Thanks for subscribing! My engine instruments show up at the top of my left side EFIS. They are color coded, white is good, yellow caution, red is bad. So I try to look at the colors and quickly read a few numbers on the takeoff roll. But I can see them fine on the display whether it's day or night.

@@jasonausman Thanx for the answer. Still, such presentation of a vital information in SE plane is rather mediocre. Unfortunately a lot of Rotax users are like that. Not only those, but mostly.

Why is this aircraft called an Ultralight when it does not comply with FAR part 103 rules ? It's a Light Sport Aircraft.

That's a good observation. The plane is not an ultralight, but the manufacturer in Czech Republic is called TL Ultralight.
