This video was very helpful! My seats don’t have heating but I wanted to know how to take off the seat upholstery from an 01 driver seat back. Only thing I’m confused on is with the lumbar outside part, do you only have to unscrew the two screws from the inside for the outside part to come off?

Thanks. With the lumbar support adjustment, if I remember correctly, there are 2 screws holding it to the frame.

What would happen if not modify wiring serial to parallel? and is it possible to collect both pads in one connector instead of separated sockets?

In series it would work at 1/2 the rated power, if you install it with the wiring kit that comes with it, you can switch it to to 1/2 power or full power. I opted for a OEMish solution. I guess it is possible, it"s just an alternate solution to wiring it in parallel. Might be less convenient to assemble-disassemble the seat.

How did you get the arm rest? Are these Ghia seats? An other question about the the new headlights; are these not irritation for oncoming traffic?

Both cars that I own are GHIA, hence seats with the armrest. The xenon headlights? No, they were an option on these cars. The LED bulbs in the normal headlight? Yes, that’s why I installed xenon headlights.

Salut. Am făcut și eu aceasta modificare la scaunele mele, cu aceleași paduri de la autoimprove. Am o întrebare. Padurile de încălzire au ele termostat sa se oprească când ajung la o temperatura anume?? Cele originale se opreau la un moment dat și porneau iar dupa ce se raceau.

Așa este, pad-urile astea chinezești au termostat. Fiecare are cate unul.
