Junior and senior year of high school were amazing for me. The years I spent in college held some fantastic moments as well. And now that Ive been out and am building a life for myself there are still great things I do every day. I understand the nostalgia for childhood, and there are times I do miss it, but one thing Ive learned as Ive gotten older is to do your best to make every single day memorable and fun. Playing new games, watching new movies, listening to new music; its the simple things that add up. And there are plenty of things I can do now I couldnt do as a kid. Like eating pizza for every meal one day: that was a good day. You still have countless days of fun and happiness ahead of you.

Update. I have beaten the game 100%. Overall here are my thoughts. I like the game somewhat. But there are issues like Stars not being saved from checkpoints so if you die gathering 30 stars can be a problem. Especially if you get hit by a boss at the end of a boss stage. To compensate though the game is pretty easy for the most part. However the extra stages retain their status as being much harder then the rest of the game to the point where they are actually very hard frantic levels that push your platforming to the limit.

I used to remember playing this game. It was hard a little but, fun. It got deleted somehow but, I think it was my youngest sister messing with it while my back was turned. I lost my original 3DS in January 2017 because it got stolen. Xmas 2017 I get the original 2DS and now it got a messed up R button. Currently, I'm saving up for the New 2DS XL. I will plan on getting this game back later once I get Weegee's Mansion 3DS Remake.

I love the fact that you play and don't talk throughout the entire game. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind a little talking here or there, but some gaming channels just talk nonstop. It can be really distracting and especially annoying when they talk all throughout the cutscenes. Please tell me you're gonna do Kingdom Hearts 3 and Bayonetta 3 the same way if you ever get the chance to. [Strange side note] Every time Yoshi is about to turn his enemy into an egg, he says "Bum" just before the egg comes out of his butt. I just thought I'd let you know.

Seems a bit tacked on IMO. Like, why was Bowser and Mario even time travelling in the first place? Also, just a little theory: In every modern Yoshi game, Baby Bowser looks EXACTLY like Bowser Jr. Hell, Nintendo even lazily recycled Bowser Jr.'s voice clips for Baby Bowser! This brings me to the conclusion that maybe, in Yoshi's New Island, Baby Bowser is secretly Bowser Jr. who also traveled through time, like Bowser and Mario. ...Yeah, that's kinda dumb. I'm probably just nit picky about Baby Bowser using Bowser Jr. voice clips.

I still don't get the hate for this game. people loved woolly world and honestly I've seen a lot of design similarities between the 2 games with how collectibles are hidden and other such complaints. I do agree on the point of the ost though. i'd say this game has 3, maybe 4 unique songs and the rest are just remixes of the main theme. not even nes games are that limited. I do love the castle boss theme though.

This game was such a lame follow up to the original Yoshi’s Island and Yoshi’s Island DS. It’s so derivative of its predecessors that it almost has no identity of its own.
