Cloutiful was doing things that no one thought was possible. From changing his skillset midway through he playing career to his incredible improvement, his rise to the ranks was so fast, everyone couldn't help but anticipate what he would do next and what records he would soon break. Eventually, Cloutiful was about to make it to the top 3 on the osu rankings, and was really close to completely breaking the game as a whole with an incredible play on Snow Goose that sent everyone into a complete frenzy. It felt like there was nothing that could stop him, until a chaotic 48 hours would change everything...

@@Anna_Evan PP is performance points. Basically it is a measure of overall accuracy including milliseconds of deviation from a perfect hit. On the bottom of the game the bar displays overall deviation from perfect being the center white line. This is based off of overall map difficulty which is measure by AR(approach rate of notes) OD (Overall Difficulty), and CS (Circle Size). To get higher PP modifiers can be put in place such as hidden,Double time/Nitecore,Flashlight, etc. There is more to measuring overall PP, but higher PP=Better play. There are work arounds to higher PP such as farm maps but this is a whole other topic.

What's really sad is that he actually had a real potential, he maybe wasn't a good speed player which would have prevented him from reaching such ranks at that speed but he was good at dt aiming and was improving kinda fast. It's just pretty sad to see that a whole osu career was ruined because he didn't wanted to grind speed on his own, and who knows, he could've maybe improved in this skillset if he tried, but i guess we will never know or at least not for a long time

It's weird because he made great improvement on his cheated playstyle. So much that it improved his aim and flow aim while being restricted to this wrong way of playing the game. And anyone who isn't a 2 digit using the same setup won't be able to set scores using that cheated technique that easily.

i still not sure about him getting considered as a cheater for that macro thing even if its a macro u still have to build a muscle memory on that thing its pretty much same as using m1 and m2 with 2 keys he build a skill on it even tho it was a "macro" also wtf is wrong with using keyboard functions

It's wild to say that "he built a skill on it even tho it was a macro" when this method requires so much less skill than the legit ones. After this scandal, a bunch of top players tried it for fun, and they were able to set insane scores within mere minutes of practicing. For example, Mrekk was able to go from 79% (playing legit) to 93% (playing with Clotiful's settings) acc on Snow Goose (the map Clotiful choked 2k pp). Another example was Dereban, who pretty much got a 7k pp play (he configured his keyboard differently, but if you're going to allow Clotiful's settings, then there isn't much argument against Dereban's).
