No. The best one were splines with bending capabilities in 2009 :) . Only this feature made full-detailed rails and junctions possible.

There's an easier way than guessing for the terrain height. Switch to Classic Mode, use the Height Options to get the height, then use that number in 2.0

+1 tip worked "out of a box" when you just released HD Terrain beta, guys. You don't need ballast prism for tracks at all now, or saying more tolerant - it's not more mandatory. With HD terrain, just sculpt any ballast prism shape you'd like directly in Surveyor, saving overall poly count and draw calls. You also can use trackside objects to make a "leveling tool" to recreate the actual shape using dozen amount of dives and embosses. This method allows to make more different track variants with the same sleepers and rails, also the same textures can be used to paint under the track and along it. With Color FX tool it gives amazing results.

When working DX12, light emitters and weather, guys? Your sound engine also came from ancient times. Your building tools are the best at the market, but simulation core mechanics are still weak.

lol because they didnt ditch AURAN JET 20 years ago and keep developing on it.. moving to a modern game engine like unreal with the editor features of trainz would be ground breaking.. but that'll never happen.

It's all great, but when are you going to update the weather? Dynamic light sources would be nice in 2024. I'm so tired of baking textures for interiors, because you can't adjust self illumination via script anymore. It's so frustrating to use 1990-s technology in a modern game
