Good video Randy! Looks like you had a successful day right in your own backyard. Very nice sax music too!

Randy, nice job on clarifying Field Day lingo for us newbies, I'm just 3 months a general. There is a lot of amateur radio etiquette to be learned, thanks. Oh, great sax!

Randy, Just picked up the video again after 2 years. Now that I'm headed toward Tech and General licensing proved to be very interesting! 73s from Rhode Island

Hi Bob and thanks for watching and the kind words! The rig is indeed easy to operate and I'm very happy with the performance. According to the manual, I should not have to retune if the light is on. As I recall, in instances where I had just switched back from trying my 20-meter dipole I opted to manually retune as a safety measure. But I believe the rig will maintain the settings across the band(s). Thanks again for watching and best DX to you Bob! 73's Randy

Gee Randy, What a great video... it shows how easy it can be to make lots of contacts... nice simple set up and the camera stayed on the radio most of the video showing the contacts signal strength and you making minor adjustments to the radio. I noticed the tuner light was on. Did you need to retune as you went up the band or was the antenna broadbanded enough? About 9 minutes into the video I recognized a call: K6RBS of Orange Co.... I worked him too. 73 N6BOB
