This needs to be more expanded upon to have a n64/GameCube edition where it changes not only the announcer but also characters and coin sounds. Also it would be neat to hear the original soundtracks for everything outside of the boards.

Pretty sure the same coin sound effect was used up until mp7 and mpds. It was changed in mp8 with a worse sound than the new one...

Imagine if all the minigames had their original announcer, and not only that but a remixed minigames rules theme that belongs to that minigames original game. And custom title screens with 4-10 added with remix music. It would be cool.

YO THAT'D BE SO COOL!! They already have different victory music depending on what game the minigames are from after all! I'll admit, I didn't notice until I played a MP9 minigame and heard that familiar nostalgic music, as the last 2 Mario Partys are the only ones I've played of the main 10 😅 Yeah, I didn't grow up with the N64 or GameCube Mario Party titles, but I didn't grow up with ANY games from those systems so that's not my fault! A new Mario Party still using old formula, new, or old hosts- Toadsworth comeback, anyone? :3 And I'd love to see a proper story mode returning, like in the N64, Gamecube, Wii, and DS days (DS had the best story HANDS DOWN, I'd love another story like that! MP3 is a close second tho)

I would love to play as some Bowser minions, like Goomba, Koopa, and especially Boo and Dry Bones! But should they instead be hosts like in MP4? (And if there are Boo spots, how does it make sense if we play as a Boo?) Ahh there's so many options and choices!

Ngl, it would've been really cool if they did this. Would've been a great way to honor the series' legacy on top of the other fan service in this game. And if 2020 has taught us anything about Nintendo, it's that they keep backups of everything, including audio recordings.

Any homebrew has a chance of getting your Switch banned, you should use mods with caution. Emulators like Ryujinx don’t have problems emulating Mario Party Superstars, if your computer is powerful enough. That supports mods as well.
