N64 has widescreen16:9 compatibility!? F-zero-X on a 1080i HD CRT TV

F-Zero X and Killer Instinct Gold are N64 games that I still play on my CRT TV to this day. Both have fantastic music which is probably a big reason why.

but there is it a widescreen crt's some can have 1080p, samsung also made a few rare 2k crts?

It's not widescreen it's stretched. The character portraits while racing should be 1:1 square. And the placement of all the 2D elements are the same as in 4:3. It's just not that obvious with no 3D characters on screen that it is stretched.
