I know the weather has not been the best but you must be waiting and picking wet, grey days....to be fair the mist on the tops did make it look very mystical but those trails do not get any easier. Well I was waiting for that - karma, laughing at poor Dave falling I was waiting for you and you did not disappoint, thankfully on grass and not rock. Grand history tour indeed and a lot to see there for sure, with a real spooky looking bothy. The waterfall was great but you were temping fate walking on that wet rock, cheers Alan

well i plan on doing some munros in scotland shortly so all this wet weather karma im collecting will hopefully pay off when i drive all the way up there, otherwise i might just retire for this summer haha.. aye was a larl bit risky on the rocks but nee big drops or anything so maybe looked worse on camera as it was around the fall.. one to revisit definitely.. thanks for watching lad, tek care :)

Morning Marra, cracking video again. Me and Mossy visited the Bothy on our way out from our wild camp a few weeks ago. It’s a cracking spot although as you saw can get busy. People also attack it from Longsleddale too. Nice to see you both stacking it. 🤣🤣 We saw the waterfall on our way down but didn’t venture over, we were piss wet through and just wanted to get back. All the best mate Dave 😀🥾⛰

@@DAoutdoors cheers Dave.. some cracking remote spots up there for a wild camp.. especially around the top of hobgrumble hill where absolutely nobody will ever go... the waterfalls definitly worth a visit on a hot day for a swim but I doubt there are many 'non rain' days in this area sadly.. 🤔

Interesting to see your route over those two, Dave. I have them pencilled in for later in the year, coming up from Wet Sleddale Reservoir. This involves 2 crossings of Mosedale Beck: outward over a footbridge I know, then return (just below where you branched off the bridleway up to Nabs Crag) which will probably involve wet feet!

i had a similar route planned for my wet sleddale round but im glad i was persuaded to abandon picking up these 2 from it.. i know the bridge and that whole area is very rough walking and it saps your energy.. this route is far easier plus you get to enjoy the bothy and waterfalls with relatively ok paths.. cheers for watching Tony, tek care :)
